I went to look at Olympic Place by Bonaventure. My concern is about the light. My mom's coming from California, which is very open and light-lit. This place was tucked in beautiful greenery, so that's quite a difference. The staff was so friendly and extremely helpful on things that I hadn't considered before. They were full of helpful information and very willing to answer any questions or concerns that I had. The floor plan was very well suited for independent living. We were able to see the common areas and activities, as well as some of the activity levels of the residents. The facilities are clean and very well maintained.

We went to look at Olympic Place by Bonaventure. We like the location and friendliness of the staff. We've been invited and have gone back several times to activities and to meet the people. No one said anything bad about the place. They liked it. Everything about the place is fine. They had duplexes, which were more to our liking at the moment. The floor plan was excellent and had plenty of space. There was an exercise room and activity rooms. It was very adequate. The food was good.

They really don't have dishwashers in the apartments. Staffing has been an on going problem, making service at best very difficult. There meals are at set times and rarely offer what's on the menu, despite that they are good tasting. Maintenance is almost non existent. Staff friendly

I loved Olympic Place by Bonaventure, except for the price. It's probably one of the more expensive places and they do not take Medicaid. The amenities were outstanding. It's a newer building and it's very nice outside. It's got good grounds as far as landscaping. It's very attractive. Everything was open, inviting, and clean. They had a nice dining area and meeting areas for the residents. Their menu looked good. The rooms had a small stove and a refrigerator (bigger than what you would see in a hotel room, but not full size). So, they had everything that the residents would need in the room to be able to do whatever they want if they chose to, in addition to the two meals a day, which was part of the price. The person that gave the tour was very friendly and very eager (a little too eager though). She kept saying he has to put her sales hat on and try to get me to put in a $500 deposit to hold the room. She called me up a couple of times to just check in with me, which was fine, but I'm not putting any money down until my mom comes through.

Olympic Place by Bonaventure seemed very nice and clean. The lady that showed us around seemed nice. The price wasn't the most expensive and it wasn't the cheapest but was kind of in the middle. We are going to move into a two-bedroom and it seems to have enough room for us. They have games, trips, and the same kind of activities like the other facilities. They also have a physical therapist in the building. If you need more care, it's possible to move to the assisted side.

My father-in-law used to stay in the Olympic Place by Bonaventure two years ago. My mother-in-law also chose that place now because she has friends there. She's on the assisted side and she's been there for two months now. She can't do any activities for now, but she will be. She's already got it all planned out with her girlfriends. So, she's very excited to do that. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. They were able to handle the issue with one of our family members nicely and they were able to calm him down. My mother-in-law loves the food and she says it is fabulous. The facility is easy to get around for people that are in walkers too. I can walk beside her when she's with her walker to get outside and to get out through the doors. So, it was laid out smart. They've got an elevator if you don't want to try to do the stairs, and everything's easy and accessible. They've got a little library and a game room as well. It's just really set up well.

Olympic Place by Bonaventure is excellent. My room is small and clean, but no storage space. Overall, the staff has been great. The food is institutional but edible. There's just no seasoning so it's bland, like hospital food. They have two activity directors who stay busy.

We chose Olympic Place by Bonaventure for my mom because it is about a mile from my house. We chose it for convenience. I also like the feel of it. It feels friendly, clean, and kind of like a hotel. The staff members are very friendly. The residents seem happy and friendly. The apartments are the largest that I saw. They have puzzles and cards.

My mother moved into a 2 bedroom apt. at Olympic Place in Aug '17 and she absolutely loves it. We thought that she would have issues after being in her own home for over 40yrs, but she has adjusted so well. Everyone is very friendly, she has made many friends, enjoys her bingo games and other activities and we are so relieved she's in a safe, secure place.

Olympic Place by Bonaventure's people were friendly and seemed to be well-organized. The rooms themselves were like small one-bedroom apartments. The facility location was kind of a relaxed, almost wooded area. It's quiet, with no major roads that cause any noise. The pricing was very competitive, and I was very pleased with them.

I had a bad time at Olympic Place, --particularly with the food which they brag about. We had fish and a lady who joined us at the table also had fish, and they didn’t have any lemon or lemon juice; they had nothing lemon which was a shortcoming. The food was not mediocre but not quite better. One thing to improve upon is to make sure to tell people about how to get there because it was a little awkward finding your way around. The rooms were OK and were about what I would come to expect. It didn’t stand out as being opulent; it was just a good place, physically.

My mother-in-law is at Olympic Place. It is a really nice place and more like a hotel than a facility. The rooms are nice; she has a one-bedroom apartment. The food is excellent. They have inside activities and outside activities that she participates in but not in all of them. The dining area looks like a restaurant. They have a menu with really good food. When you first walk in, it doesn’t look like that type of facility. It has a more homey, upscale appeal to it.

Olympic Place had extremely nice but small rooms and a nice dining room. They had an activity room and a big living room where they had a fireplace and a big-screen TV. The nice thing about them is they take money off, about $1,200, for people whose spouses were in the military. My mother-in-law’s husband was in WWII, so she would have qualified for that.

This facility lacks management and organization. There are staff members who are concerned and really care about the residents. The director and assistant don't seem to share the same concerns and lack management and customer service skills. They don't seem to value or respect their staff. Jobs in these types of facilities don't pay that well and showing you care about your staff goes a long way. Don't be fooled by the pleasantries you experience when they want to sell you a room. They will financially gouge you every time they get a chance. They won't lift a finger to help a resident without charging you for it.

I recently went to Olympic Place to see a friend of mine there, but the people were just plain rude. When I went there and asked to see my friend, they tried to throw me out because, as they said, “We can’t give you that information; the law won’t allow us; you just have to leave, etc.” So, I left. The second time I visited, I talked to the son of the man that I visited, and he was upset. The facility was nice, clean, and modern. However, there was very limited parking.

The housekeeping staff at Olympic Place is excellent. The facility is about 9 years old, and it's very, very well maintained. It looks new. They offer a lot of activities for us to do. They have entertainment several times a week. They provide transportation to doctors, hospital, and to the store. The food service is a bit of disappointment because the tables are not cleaned well enough between meals. My wife and I had gone to their lunch meeting where they call "meet the chef," but the chef didn’t even show up. So we complained about the dirty tables, and the food was in some cases overcooked and served warm, not hot. They don’t have trained medical people 24 hours a day. It only has nurses during the daytime. They do have an activities director, but she has been tasked also to do manicures and pedicures -- something she is not qualified to do. They have a beauty salon that is only open two days a week.

The staff at Olympic Place was very friendly. The rooms were really nice for its cost. It's very clean, no smell, almost like a hotel. They have dining facilities, laundry services, transportation, a lot of entertainment and activities, and the residents even go on field trips.

I feel the facility was excellent for my elderly grandfather. It was clean, small, functional, cafe-style food, near family and liked by my granddad. The staff appeared to be knowledgeable with seniors, as well as the ailments that accompany them later in life. They have a hospice program to assist the transition into death, for both person and family members. Overall, I was satisfied with the organization because my ancestor was pleased with the place.
