"I was really impressed with Sunrise View Convalescent Center, and I would have chosen this one. It also had skilled nursing, which was a good option should the need arise. I talked with the director and felt very comfortable. The place was well kept and very accommodating. I went to the skilled nursing wing, where the residents were well taken care of."

"My first impression of the facility when i walked in was very clean and very organized. The people who worked at the front desk were very polite and welcoming. they answered all of our questions and made us feel right at home. They took us on a brief tour around the property.The Rooms were quaint but were nothing to get excited over. The family member who live there says that she enjoys the group activities that the staff has planned on a regular basis. The Nurses Treat each and every person like they are their own family member, and takes care of them to the best of their ability. Over all if i had to live there i wouldn't be disappointed. The other residents who live there seem to be happy with the living conditions. The rooms feel quite cozy and are well ventilated. The scent of the facility was pleasant and not the usual old people smell that you would expect. The Rates per month are about the same everywhere else. "

"Warm Beach appealed to me more because they had more activities. They had social classes, ceramics, music, choirs and a lot of things that I would be interested in. The people were a little more active. It was an entire community. They had everything there from camping to independent living to assisted living to full-term care. All together, they had about 300 units. The reason why they had a long wait list there was that anytime the assisted living became available, if they had somebody in the independent living that was waiting, of course they would give it within their own community first. The rooms were a little small. They had a little like a camping refrigerator that was about 2x2 and there was no microwave, so I would have to buy my own refrigerator and a microwave. There was very little closet space, but all of the units opened to a beautiful courtyard. They had chairs in each apartment there so you could enjoy the outdoors. That was very nice. They allowed pets and I had a cat. The staff was very cordial. I did not see anything that would turn me off. They had a lovely food service. They would bring you coffee in the morning. They had a lot of things and services that other places did not have. I thought it would be a very pleasant place to live. "

"My mom is in Bethany at Silver Lake. It's kind of like a community with buildings, and she's in one of those buildings. It's got ten or 12 residents in one building, and it's a really nice place. The staff is bending over backward for all their patients. There are lots of Alzheimer's and dementia patients in there, and their memories are not so good, and they would sit there and repeat things for them. They're ever so kind. It's also a very clean facility. Everybody is just so accommodating. The most important thing is their care for the patients. It's a nice complex, and it's not very hard to find."

"I visited Josephine Sunset. They were very cordial. It was clean. The food was a little more pedestrian. The dining room was certainly nothing to scream and shout about and it was dreary. I actually kind of liked the apartments better than the other place I visited. I thought it was a little larger and they did have microwaves and refrigerators. I would recommend it. The things that was lacking there that the other place had was the concern to people that were still pretty active. The people there all had dementia and they catered to those people a little better. "

"My mother is at Josephine Caring Community. Right now, she's in long-term care. She's also been in the rehab portion of it. The staff is very good. She's sharing a room, and the only downside is that they got them crammed into a room, which seems a little too tight. Otherwise, I think they take good care of them. The food is in the middle of the road, not great, not terrible. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The facility is well cared for. It's a great place for someone with advanced illnesses, with the correct amount of care for those."

"I moved my aunt into Regency so she could be close to me. Her previous care center was not great. I never knew a care center could be so amazing. The staff which know me on first name bases, Are always kind and answer my questions. It is a family like atmosphere and I enjoy visiting. I enjoy it so much that I am filling out paperwork so I can volunteer there. I’m so grateful that there is a place so wonderful in Monroe. To know, my aunt has the best care gives me peace of mind. I can’t think them enough"

"I recently was able to visit Aldercrest again and I have to say I am overjoyed with the good changes I see!! The last time I visited the top person there was very rude to me because I asked a question. I see he is no longer there. The place is so clean now, before it looked and felt dirty. The staff is happy and very helpful and were so polite. My friend was painting a craft when I arrived and they have a cute garden area. This place deserves 10 stars for the improvements its made!!!!!!! so glad to see this company cares about taking care of people the right way!!!!!"
