I recently was able to visit Aldercrest again and I have to say I am overjoyed with the good changes I see!! The last time I visited the top person there was very rude to me because I asked a question. I see he is no longer there. The place is so clean now, before it looked and felt dirty. The staff is happy and very helpful and were so polite. My friend was painting a craft when I arrived and they have a cute garden area. This place deserves 10 stars for the improvements its made!!!!!!! so glad to see this company cares about taking care of people the right way!!!!!

Some of the staff are unprofessional, disorganized, and even rude. The facility is in fair to poor condition.

The new owners, Cornerstone, have made changes that reduce the patients quality of life and do not communicate the changes with the residents or their families. Voicemails are not returned and the menu of choices from the automated system is wrong. There have been numerous staffing changes since Cornerstone took over. It is apparent that the changes are directed at fattening the wallets of the Cornerstone business execs and not at offering high quality of life care. I am so very disappointed and have contacted the Ombudsman program for patients in long term care and filed a complaint with the DSHS; I suggest you do the same!

We are happy with the staff and the care here. People are friendly and the leadership really cares about how their patients are doing. They have care conference meetings for patients and family/friends and take time to answer questions. This has been a hard time for our family and we really appreciate the help and support we have received. I am so glad my mom is there!
