I'm in a senior living community called Brightview Dulles Corner. I can honestly say that it's nice not to have to worry about the electric bill, water bill, heating bill, cleaning the house, doing yard care, or any of that stuff anymore. It's all done for me. I don't have to buy groceries, and I'm provided meals. My apartment is fairly small, but part of that is because I've got it loaded up with furniture. There are always things to do here. It's vibrant living that always has activities planned, like social outings as well as yoga and other activities. The food is well thought out, well planned, and well presented. I believe that Brightview is one of the best, but that's just my humble opinion, and I haven't made a survey of any others.

Brightview Dulles Corner was a very aesthetically pleasing facility. It was peaceful. It's basically in a city setting, but it was really a nice facility. The staff was very helpful, very welcoming, and very informative. We looked at the dining area, but we did not have a chance to taste the food. The dining area was very nice looking, very clean, and very pretty.

I am choosing Brightview Dulles Corner because it is modern and updated and has the amenities that I like. One I particularly liked was the screened-in porch. The kitchens and the layouts were brand new and up-to-date. The dining room even had tablecloths, which I don't see very often. There was nothing I disliked about it. The menu and the food were lush. You felt like you were going out to dinner every night. The staff and the people were very nice. They were friendly. They had a beauty salon and a nail place that was open 2 days a week. The place was not cheap, but you get a lot for your money. It was located right at the subway if you wanted to go somewhere. It had a dog park. It was a well-rounded community. They had somebody around the clock if you needed help for a reason. They had a happy hour. Overall, it's just the place I like to live in. It was bright and cheerful and had a lot of light. You didn't have to think you were in a dungeon.

I went to Brightview Dulles Corner. The sales staff was very accommodating for late notice. The facility is brand new. It opened in March of 2023. It's a very contemporary and high-rise building in a suburban environment. The 1-bedrooms are on the small side in terms of square footage. They are priced in about mid $4000 per month. There's a small one time community fee of $5400 for entrance. They have a continuum of care that goes from independent living to assisted living to memory care. They provide scheduled transportation, two meals a day (breakfast and dinner), housekeeping, utilities, and 24/7 on premise monitoring. They have yoga, fitness, bocce, and other enrichment programs. There's a free happy hour.
