I had a good experience with this assisted-living facility. I went there every Sunday for a few months as part of my church (we were on a rotation for the area) and I always enjoyed my visits. I would go around to the different rooms before the service began and help people make their way down to the room where we met, and the staff were always kind and helpful. I met one woman who loved to draw and doodle, and her nurse had posted up all of her pictures along the walls, along with drawings the woman's grandchildren had sent. The building is nice, and had gone through some renovations right before I had visited. My only complaint was that the building smelled rather putrid, which I could understand, but the staff eventually put air fresheners in all the hallways to solve the problem. The front desk is helpful as well, with the secretaries always kindly directing us where we needed to go. Overall, a very good facility.

This is a great facility. It's occupancy is only about twenty, but the facility is large and spacious. Not only is there a nice covered porch outside, but they have some nice grounds and sidewalks for taking walks. This facility also boasts quite the activity program. Let me just tell you, there's nothing quite like bingo night at this facility. The residents are so competitive and almost feisty over their bingo. It's not that this is their only entertainment either; they just really like bingo. I'm pretty sure that when I was there, watching this little war which is bingo, I saw this harmless looking little old lady trying to cheat! It was absolutely hilarious. There's nothing as heartwarming as watching the residents play games and come alive. I definitely approve of the effort the staff puts into the activities for the residents.
