I was there January 2015 to do a tour and I was so impressed with the place. I had been in the facility a few years ago and the owners have done a lot of renovations to the place. It looks so much better wow. I was impressed. The staff was friendly and the residents I spoke to seemed to be very happy and well cared for.

I was there January 2015 to do a tour and I was so impressed with the place. I had been in the facility a few years ago and the owners have done a lot of renovations to the place. It looks so much better wow. I was impressed. The staff was friendly and the residents I spoke to seemed to be very happy and well cared for.

The Golden Years is an old facility and most people there had low income. Their staff was friendly and receptive. They looked after their people. I would say that one thing they needed to address was to have an air-conditioning unit in there because when old people had respiratory problem, they need air that was easy to breath. Other than that, they were good and they do keep enough heat during the winter.
