My father moved to the assisted living facility of Springfield Crossings. It is super clean, and the people are very friendly and very knowledgeable. It was also really quite effortless to fill out the paperwork and get approval for him to go in. They moved him in in two weeks, and he was very excited to be there. Every time I'm there, the people who work there are more than happy to help. They also wave and say hi. He really likes the workers and everybody that he encounters. I think it's also good for him to be with people, because he sees people there every day. I'm gonna say that he's more content there than he was when he was living with my husband and me. It's actually worked out really well. He moved into a brand new room that they had just created, and it's not overly big. He could've gone to a bigger room, but he preferred the smallness of this room, although it's really not too small. He has a single bed and two chairs in there. He also has a TV, a little kitchenette, a full bathroom, and a nice-sized closet. They supply the furniture, like a brand new bed and nightstand. They let us put a bird feeder on his window, so he has birds there every day, which is kind of fun for him. It's clean. They come in and clean and help him make his bed. Sometimes he makes his bed, and he just puts his laundry in a bag; they come and get it, wash it for him, then return it. There are no issues at all. The room is actually very nice, and the whole facility, too. It seemed better to me, with better people. My father doesn't participate in activities. He just likes to talk to people. Every once in a while, there's a man there, and he gets him to participate. He knows a lot of people there, and he can still drive, so he gets in the car, and because he's born and raised in that area, he'll go and get a burger or do a little food shopping, like that kind of thing. This kind of care is very expensive, as we all know, but I'm happy with his care and what it costs.

Springfield Crossings was new and updated, and they had a lot of amenities. The person who gave me the tour was nice. They seemed really caring and very interested in making the seniors active. They had a gym, a salon, a courtyard, a dining room like a cafe, and a garden.

The staff at Springfield Crossings seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. The facility was a bit crowded, but they were also under renovation. I think they were moving some things around, but it was clean. The residents seemed content and it seemed like they were engaged with their programs. I was actually very satisfied. For me, the distance was good. It was close to where the family lives. The nursing staff and the program staff spoke to the residents, "Hey, good morning. How you doing?" and the residents would respond. It was a nice day, so I saw people outside, which made a difference to me. They are able to get their residents outside and get some air. The dining area was clean and really kept up well, and there were some residents in there. I think they were playing bingo or something. There was a courtyard and an outdoor space. They had space where the barber and hairstylist could come. There was a dining room. They had skilled nursing as well.

Springfield Crossings was OK. It was a way to walk from the parking lot to the building. The rooms to me were kind of small and it was under construction, so I didn't understand that one, but the person that gave the tour was pretty nice. He's a very knowledgeable young guy. Next door to the facility was a nursing home that was available for the residents. If something were to happen to your loved one, they can be taken there, which I thought was pretty good since it was convenient. The dining area was nice and clean as well. Then they have a private room if you have family members that stopped by.

We toured Springfield Crossings. The people there were extremely nice. We got to speak to a number of the residents, and they had positive things to say about the community. The facility looked like it was well laid out and would meet the needs of the assisted living that we thought we needed for our father. I did not see any residents doing activities. There was a generally open area and a dining facility. The residents were holding a meeting during the time we were there. The facility was clean and they were in the process of updating the rooms and hallways.

My mother has moved into Springfield Crossings. She is doing very well. The staff members are awesome. We love them. She is in a newly renovated room, so it's nice. We're having some issues getting some maintenance done. As far as the facility itself, it's a bit older. It needs some work. The dining area is set up like a restaurant. I have not tried the meals, but my mother loves the food. They have lots of different activities. I think she has participated in some of them. They have bingo, music, movies, and crafts. They're right off the highway, so it's secure. It's reasonably priced.

Everyone at Springfield Crossings has been very responsive and very helpful. The gentleman who runs the place is Sam and he is excellent. He's responsive and takes care of things quickly. The rest of the staff is great, pleasant, and friendly, too. My brother and sister-in-law don't have any complaints about anything. Their apartments are nice. The common areas, like the hallway and things like that, have all been redone. The individual unit that they're in was painted, but the fixtures could be updated a bit. They look pretty old. Other than that, everything was nice. They have all kinds of activities such as arts and crafts, music, dogs that come in, movies, exercise programs, bingo, and quite a bit to do there. What I liked the most was its proximity to the family and other family members. It's not that far, so we can get to see my brother and sister-in-law easily. My only complaint would be that sometimes parking gets a little tight and you have to wait for a space because they only have a limited number of spaces. Although eventually, someone comes out and leaves so you can grab their spots.
