My sister is now at The Addison of Woodbourne Place. We chose them for their size, cleanliness, and friendliness. The staff I worked with is wonderful, beyond belief. My sister's living space is very adequate and very nice size. It has room enough for her, her bureau, her chest of drawers, and two chairs. It's very spacious. Everybody raves about the food. They have bingo, art classes, movies, casinos, and singalongs. They have a lot of things. I am so glad to share this review because I am so elated we have her there. They're doing such a great job. We appreciate what they're doing.

We went to Woodbourne Place. It was a very nice community. It's very clean and very nice. They showed us a single room, and it was more like an apartment setting. They have a nice dining area. They have a beauty shop where they can get their hair done. They have an activity room and a TV room. We would have put my mom there if they could handle memory care.

My daughter has moved into Woodbourne Place. The staff is very caring. The administration staff members are very quick to address any issues or problems. What I don't care about is on the weekends, there is not a lot of staff there, so things don't get done that should get done. I've never tasted their food, but I've seen it, and it's more than adequate. They give dessert every day. For activities, they have bingo, they have people come in for singalongs and piano, and every once in a while, they have a little happy hour for the residents. The upkeep of the place is not top-rate, but it's adequate.

I went here. It was great; it was amazing. The apartment that we saw was spacious, even to the point where it was more than what my mother needed. As for the bathroom, I would want one of them in my house; that's how good it was. The staff was amazing, and he answered all of our questions, even the COVID-19 questions, like if it had hit the facility. He answered them very honestly. I was really impressed. We saw the dining area. They were finishing lunch, and you couldn't smell food like you would normally in a facility. The residents who had not finished yet were all very comfortable in the dining hall. There weren't a lot of people running around trying to get them out of there; they were very relaxed. They actually have an activities person on staff, and she's there every day. They have a large activities room, and they provide bingo, crocheting, knitting, and music. They accommodate anything that the resident is interested in, for example if somebody has a need to use their hands more.

We choose them. I did not tour the building, but I went there. I talked to the nurse, the director, and three people. Then I went to the room where I could see the rooms from the outside. So I got a full view through the screen of the room, and they gave me all the information. I thought it could work for my brother. Right after talking to the nurse and the person in-charge, the administrator, I got the sense that they were really concerned about their people. It's a smaller place than the other two, and I thought he wouldn't get lost in the shuffle. They provide a lot of good care; I just think that they really care about the people who stay there. It feels very homey.

I went here three times, and I really liked it. It was clean, it was friendly, and there were things going on. It was nice outside, they go on trips, it has a lot of amenities, and it was in the price range I was looking for. The staff member was great, very friendly, and informative. She even checked in with me twice, and gave me a lot of resources, because I was in a strange place, and I didn't even know where I was. The only available were studio, so those were the only ones I saw, but she did show me bigger rooms on the other end. The food smelled good. It was the hallways which scared my mom. There were people with wheelchairs and walkers when we were there, there was a lot of activity, which we liked, but it was crowded in areas. The hallways felt very close when there were people passing by and stuff like that.

I like everything about them. They have a lot of different games, like bingo, though my mother is not that involved because she is kind of private. The folks are very friendly and terrific; I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is very nice and treat her like they would treat their mothesr. They cannot be any nicer. It is excellent. The lady who runs it is A+. My mother likes bagels, so every morning, they bring a bagel to her room. She always goes for lunch and dinner, but they will bring food to her room if she wants it.

The visit here was very good. The person who took me around knew what he was talking about. I thought the rooms were neat and clean. The dining hall looked very attractive and the staff looked attentive. I believe the state requires two hours worth of physical activity per week, and they maintained more than the minimum level.

It was wonderful. They were great. The gentleman in charge, Robert, was very informative and very good, kind, and courteous. The rooms were functional and homey, but the whole place wasn't too big. You have three choices for the rooms: studio, one bedroom, or a suite. There was a calendar of activities, and it looked like someone comes in every day to do something for the residents.

My visit seemed very nice, but in the end, they weren’t able to actually accept my mother, because they couldn’t give the care that she needs. They seem very conscientious. They came and did an evaluation of my mom. Everybody seemed nice in that facility. The dining area was nice. The shared rooms were nice. The thing I like most about this facility is the fact that they have very friendly staff.

It was a nice place. They took my dad around to different places as many times as he wanted. The staff was nice. They gave me all the information that we needed, and provided back-up assistance because the person who we should have gone to see was not there that day. The rooms were OK. My dad said they were bigger than what he needed, but they were nice. The dining room looked nice. They had availability and had respite care.

Woodbourne was simple. It had only 49 patients. If you were looking for glamour, it wasn't it, but they pride themselves on being small enough that they could keep an eye on their patients. They had big apartments. They had their social recreation on list, and they took the residents out a couple of times a week if they wanted to go. They took them shopping or so. I didn't try the food, but I looked at them. They used one of the big companies for the supplies for their meals, but they had their own kitchen. It looked clean, it generally smelled clean, and it was very simple. It would be a place I would take somebody who was not quite ready for a nursing home.

It is very close to where I live and it's very nice. It's only a 35-bed facility for the quality of care she really needs. It’s a smaller facility and the deal that she got with her room was really good. Her room is a nice-sized room and it had a private bathroom. These things were the main factors on why she chose the facility. They got a lot of games. They play a lot of old time music and they also do crafts. They also take the residents out to shopping. The staff are very good and they all seemed like they care a lot. They know what they are doing. The food is very good. She has eaten the food and she says the food is very good. It's good quality food and I'm very happy with this.
