"Pear Valley Senior Living is brand new. It's so beautiful. I would like to move in there myself. Everything is very tastefully decorated and top-of-the-line. Everything is new in the rooms."

"I toured Lakeland Senior Living. It was nice and clean. In the apartment, I didn't get a chance to go in and walk around or anything. Just kind of view from the door, other people were occupying them, but they seemed nice. They were small but nice. The staff was pleasant and informative. They answered all my questions."

"I went here a couple of years ago. It's a nice facility. It's small, that's wonderful and it's located close to me. So that would be my choice. I don't want to travel far to be of assistance to my mom if that's needed. So that's kind of why I'm stuck here until I get an answer from them, then I may have to look at others. The facility was clean, and the lady that we talked to was very informative. The rooms were nice. We visited with one of the people that lived there. The facility itself is small, which might be appealing to people. She's in a retirement home with like 300 people. She'd like a little, smaller place, so it would be great for someone who likes a smaller facility."

"I visited Mountain Meadows, and it's very nice. You buy a condo, so it's a little different setup. It's not a continuing care community, but they have an assisted living building close by that is owned by the same person that owns Mountain Meadows. It was very nice. They have studio apartments, one or two bedrooms, and cottages. They have a dining room, and you get 10 meals a month. They don’t provide any transportation, and I think to provide transportation is a big thing. "

"My wife is in Linda Vista in Ashland. They do nursing home care and rehabilitation. The staff there seems to be knowledgeable and very helpful. There are two beds there, but she's basically by herself in there. They have all the usual things like physical therapy, and occupational therapy, and a 24/7 nurse. The meals are fine, and they show up on time. I had lunch with her on Tuesday. It's nice, comfortable, it's older, but it's nicely kept."

"When I toured Clarita Cordizar Adult Foster Home, it was clutter free and it smelled good, like she was cooking something for dinner. I saw a spacious bedroom with an attached bathroom. I met Claire, the lady who owns it, and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a house. Compared to the other one I saw, it had nicer views out of the windows. I could see the trees in the neighborhood and even far enough out to see the hillsides of Ashland."

"Village at Valley View was very clean. The rooms were very, very nice and well-designed. They were much more homey. The staff was very kind, very caring, and very professional. They offer quite a few activities and they have places for residents that want to go to have a quiet place to read. It was just very, very nice."

"I would recommend Northridge Center. I like everything about it; the rooms, food, the way they kept the rooms, the way they kept it closed, and all of this. She had nothing to do except what she wanted to do. Unfortunately, it was on the highway there, and in the later stages she is going out the door and across the street. Send anyone that wants to be in a nice quiet facility as everything you would ever want there. They could have as much oversight as they want. They had games, they went to places, they went out to the stores, church, and they have people come in for entertainment. "

"The people at Ridgeview Assisted Living were nice. The room was a decent size. They have people that will look after my mother. They have bingo and that kind of thing. The staff was really nice and very informative. The dining area was fairly decent-sized. The facility was clean and nice."

"My mom was in both independent and assisted living. I can't say enough about the care, kindness, and love they gave Mom. Everyone was so helpful! Both her rooms felt like home. I can't say enough about the homelike atmosphere. They truly treated Mom with such dignity and love. She felt like they were all part of her family!"

"My husband stayed in Rogue Valley Manor for rehab. It was a very nice facility. It was homey. The staff was very caring and attentive. They offered everything. They had a social director come around and ask about his interests and kind of interview him as to what he would be interested in. They would bring ice cream carts around make sundaes and give ice cream to the residents. They did a lot when he was up there. He did quite a bit. They had a rec room where they could just go and relax, and view the scenery because it's way up on a hill and they can see out over the valley. It had puzzles out for the people. They had a little plant cart there with plants growing in it for those who wanted to do that sort of thing. The dining area was very nice and the food was very good quality."

"My Dad moved in just 4 months prior to his passing. I’m so grateful we found this place for him. The staff and residents were so welcoming and kind to him. The food was good. The care was excellent. Dad had previously been in one of the big corporate assistant living places just up the road. The contrast between the two is incredible. Northridge is a special place."
