"It was very nice, but they did not have kitchens in the apartments, just a bar sink and a counter about the size of a drawer. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant, very friendly, and really caring. I was really impressed by the staff. I could not ask for more. They had arts and crafts, and day trips. The dining area was lovely. I would like them to have kitchens in their apartments and air conditioning systems that weren't noisy."

"I toured Lakeland Senior Living. It was nice and clean. In the apartment, I didn't get a chance to go in and walk around or anything. Just kind of view from the door, other people were occupying them, but they seemed nice. They were small but nice. The staff was pleasant and informative. They answered all my questions."

"Mountain Meadows is nice and really wonderful, but I couldn't afford it. You buy your home there. The place is very clean, beautifully-maintained, and nicely-landscaped."

"I am waiting to go back for another tour in The Springs at Anna Maria. The people were excellent, and the facility was very nice that I want to go back for the second tour. The second tour is going to be just to see how the people get along and what activities they are involved with. During my first tour, they showed me a one-bedroom apartment. It was very nice. Everything was up to snuff. They had this small gym. I had a good lunch there. I enjoyed it. The amenities were pretty good as well, that's why I'm going back to check on that and their activities. I'm 77 years old, and I want a lot of excursions and activities to stay active. Out of all the places I've seen so far, this is probably the one I would wind up going to. Robin was very, very nice. She sent me a bouquet of flowers two weeks ago, and I still have two more flowers left that are still alive. They were just sent with love."

"It was alright, and the rooms were like the other community I visited. It was very appealing and everything looked great in it. We knew a couple who lived there and they were very happy there. We were invited to try the food, but we didn't follow up."

"The Springs at Veranda Park is a very nice, quality assisted living facility. The amenities are very nice and the food is good. The staff has been very helpful. You can have unlimited meals if you want. The restaurant is open from 7:00 in the morning until about 6:00 or 7:00 at night, and my friend can go in anytime he wants and order food. They have a Flyers Club, a genealogy group, bocce ball, cards, dominos, crafts, a movie theater, a fitness center, and dance lessons. They have Thirsty Thursdays where a bunch of them will meet down in the bar area and they can play pool and have drinks and just talk. There are quite a few activities available."
