"What I liked the most about Maple Ridge was the people. The staff was wonderful and the residents I talked to all liked it there. So, that was a good plus. It's very clean-looking, professional, and very attractive. The lady that gave me the tour was very friendly and answered all my questions. They had a gym, a library, a good clubroom, a beauty salon, and an excellent dining room. They had everything I was looking for."

"We have been in Bonaventure of Medford for a little over a month now. I have been there for about two months. My wife came in a little bit later. We tried assisted living and we found it to be very expensive for our budget. It's a really good place. We didn't have any complaints with the service or the rooms or anything. The staff is great. They're very helpful. The food is pretty good. The chef seems to like carbohydrate-type foods like noodles and rice and that sort of thing and we're diabetic. The food tastes good, but it's just not what we need. The rooms were a good size and the service was excellent. It was just the combination of the cost for the room and board and the medical services were too much for the budget. They're well-kept and nice rooms. They have a lounge that's available for fruits and coffee and that sort of thing."

"We toured Weatherly Inn. We really liked it. It was nice. It's just that the rooms were just too small. The upkeep was nice. The staff was very cordial and professional. The food was great."

"I toured Lakeland Senior Living. It was nice and clean. In the apartment, I didn't get a chance to go in and walk around or anything. Just kind of view from the door, other people were occupying them, but they seemed nice. They were small but nice. The staff was pleasant and informative. They answered all my questions."

"I visited Mountain Meadows, and it's very nice. You buy a condo, so it's a little different setup. It's not a continuing care community, but they have an assisted living building close by that is owned by the same person that owns Mountain Meadows. It was very nice. They have studio apartments, one or two bedrooms, and cottages. They have a dining room, and you get 10 meals a month. They don’t provide any transportation, and I think to provide transportation is a big thing. "

"My mom was in both independent and assisted living. I can't say enough about the care, kindness, and love they gave Mom. Everyone was so helpful! Both her rooms felt like home. I can't say enough about the homelike atmosphere. They truly treated Mom with such dignity and love. She felt like they were all part of her family!"
