I toured Mountain Meadows. It was more expensive. I didn't find anything fancier. Maybe the living room or the dining room was fancier, but I went to visit two different bedrooms, and they were available. The person who showed me the room was very nice. I almost wanted to live there, but they were very costly. I think for an older person, an average income person, it's quite impossible to live there. If they get too old and they run out of money, you just can't stay there anymore. It's just a depressing fact. The rooms were modern. There's no view. There was a balcony, but it was just to the street, and I didn't like it. I want a view of trees and gardens. The building was very pretty.

Mountain Meadows is nice and really wonderful, but I couldn't afford it. You buy your home there. The place is very clean, beautifully-maintained, and nicely-landscaped.

The staff who toured us at Mountain Meadows was accommodating. We stayed there overnight and looked at the place. We saw the residents are active and it felt a nice place to be. We looked at an apartment and it was very nice. It felt everything was beautifully maintained.

I visited Mountain Meadows, and it's very nice. You buy a condo, so it's a little different setup. It's not a continuing care community, but they have an assisted living building close by that is owned by the same person that owns Mountain Meadows. It was very nice. They have studio apartments, one or two bedrooms, and cottages. They have a dining room, and you get 10 meals a month. They don’t provide any transportation, and I think to provide transportation is a big thing.

The most attractive thing about Mountain Meadows is the owners run it. You buy a house, or you buy a condo, and then you're a member of the homeowner's association. You vote who's going to run it, who's going to be on the board, and the board makes all the decisions. They have dining facilities. Mountain Meadows' activities are planned by the owners and the residents there, and they participate in them. They have hiking and biking clubs. They go into schools and work with kids. They have a pool, exercise classes, and university classes. They're much more vibrant, much more alive and involved. The staff was very friendly and competent. They were hired by the homeowners, and if they didn't do what they were supposed to, their employment is discontinued. I guess the only thing would be to have dining service more often, seven days a week. I have purchased a condo, and I'll be moving there this summer.
