"I think it's beautiful being right close to the ocean and I love the ocean, but Pacific View Assisted Living feels older to me. Not quite as going or happy. It just feels older. They have a beautician and a person that does nails and they've got a nice dining room. It looks nice. Having the ocean views is the best thing."

"Ocean Ridge Assisted Living was an excellent, quality place, and their price was probably the highest because they had beautiful grounds and very active programs. They covered pretty much all the basic things, like activities and extra care that seniors would need. It was a very nice place. Some of their residents were very nice. "

"I went to Inland Point Retirement Community and looked at a vacant room and that's it, so I don't know that much about that facility. The lady giving the tour was very friendly and very helpful. The room I looked at was very nice and clean. It didn't have anything in it; it was barren, but the entranceway was very nice."

"Visiting this Christian owned facility was a joy. It is located in the rural town of Coquille, Oregon. The couple that runs this establishment are friendly and well educated. Their menu included very healthy foods appropriate for elderly patients. They appeared to be genuinely concerned and involved with all of their patients. I was impressed by the level of personal understanding and care they offered to everyone. I was really pleased with the grounds at this assisted living facility. The country air and view are very good for all people. This place really feels like a place to live and enjoy life. The comfort and care offered were very apparent as I walked through the place.The Christian atmosphere was very nice. I think any Christian who desires a nice level of care would be very happy to stay with the nice people that run the Abundant Living Assisted Living Facility in Coquille would be very happy. "

"Having just put our mom in Harmony Estates, we found it to be a bit old and dark, we found out that our mom will share a bathroom with 4 other people so walking in on someone is a daily thing, and tho they said they have TV's so far 1month later no' TV' this make's for a lonely day as she not a reader, and likes to listen to TV, When the nurse bought her meds she was unsure of how much insulin to give her and ask if she could do it herself, mom said they wait as long as a hour after they seat you for dinner most of the food is frozen type which isn't what she should have as a insulin user, if you want something like a hair-cut of nails done it will cost you. the staff is very nice and helpful, and there are only 20 patients but we fill they need to improve some of this. we may have to move her at some point. "
