Klamath & Lake Counties Council on Aging

KLCCOA is a private nonprofit organization and the designated Area Agency on Aging for Klamath and Lake counties. It strives to meet the immediate needs of seniors, while also encouraging independence and self-help. Programs it administers include the Gatekeeper Program, nutrition programs, Project Independence and family caregiver support.
Klamath Basin Senior Citizens’ Center

The Klamath Basin Senior Citizens’ Center provides a fun environment to meet with friends and stay active and healthy. Activities include bingo, craft groups, dancing, movies, creative writing classes, computer training, the Senior Veterans’ Social Club, congregate meals, health and exercise classes.
Oregon Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman

Oregon’s Office of the LTC Ombudsman offers three programs, including the traditional LTC Ombudsman, Oregon Public Guardian and Residential Facilities Ombudsman programs. The goal of all three programs is to protect the rights of residents in long-term care and residential facilities, including advocating for residents of assisted living facilities statewide.
