Trustwell Living at Rogue River Place was very nice and very clean. It smelled good. We had no problem with the place. The person that did the tour was very good at answering our questions. He showed us around and he was very hospitable. The dining area is very clean and neat-looking. The only reason my husband didn't like it is everybody was older and they were like in the 80s or something, and they didn't have a lot of entertainment.

Trustwell Living at Rogue River Place has fewer residents and apartments. It's a much smaller facility, so it would be more intimate. Their dining was assigned seating and I am not in favor of that. There's a lot of activities going on. The lady that did the tour just kind of stepped in because she was the only one available. The others were at lunch or on vacation, but she did the best she could. The only thing they had available were studios, and they were way too small.

It was a very warm and home-like atmosphere. We were able to interact with the residents as they were involved in activities and all of the people that we saw looked happy. The staff, the amenities, and the activities were great. I'd rate them as top-notch. The room that we got into has just been remodeled. They were actually in the process of remodeling any empty room. So, everything was brand new and clean. It's well laid out and well-designed. They have a craft room, a couple of library facilities, and a nice courtyard (that's completely enclosed) for people to go out into. One thing that we liked was that my wife's dog can visit her. That is huge. Lastly, the building was very user-friendly. There are no stairs. No elevators.

I had an in-person tour here. It was a very nice place and if we did have to choose, we would probably choose that one. It was accessible for all of the people that were in there. They have a group meeting room, a dining room area, and they set times for games. Their schedule was nice, and the set-up was nice. Mark, who was in charge, was not there when I went there, but he kept in contact with us. He's a very nice guy. They gave me some cookies and they were delicious cookies. They tasted great. They have a game room, a dining room, and a beauty salon. It felt homey.
