My mother-in-law is at Baptist Village in their long-term memory care area. One reason why I chose it is because they take Medicaid. They also have a very good reputation. The building itself is very old and had really nothing nice about it, but I liked the staff. I feel like she would get good care, and it’s very close to our house. I like that their dining room had a lot of natural light.

My in-laws have lived at Baptist Village for 10 years now. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and friendly and efficient staff. They have a huge variety of rooms, from a small one-bedrooms to very large two-bedrooms with a giant living area and a garage. They have actually lived in almost all of the options at one time or another. A few of them need bathroom updates, but for the most part, it is all good. The food is very good. They also have skilled nursing as an option, a beautiful rehab, and a memory care.

I didn't like Baptist Village because you had to get outside too much. They didn't have the room and they were small rooms. You had to get outside to almost do anything. So the way it's been this winter, that would have been a bad choice. The people working there are very nice and very helpful. I almost went there. I just changed my mind at the last minute.
