Legacy Village

Legacy Village was a beautiful facility. You walk in and you feel the love. I would live there if I could. I saw the interactions among the staff members and the residents. I spoke with Marjorie and she was absolutely excellent. That woman cares. You can hear it in every word that comes from her mouth. It was an older facility, but it wasn't run down. It's very well kept up. I got to see some rooms, and they were very nice, very clean, and spacious. They had a workout room and a library.

Legacy Village is a very good place. It is part of the National Church Residences program now. It's a very lovely place. I've been there several times. They have free-standing homes or they have duplex-type homes. The free-standing homes are very lovely. I saw one that had three bedrooms. These have a couple of baths, and they have garages. They're a new construction, and it is very pleasant. It's right outside of town, but it has a rural atmosphere to it for those who like a lot of space. They have assisted living, and they also recently built a new rehab program. They do have a clubhouse; they have a nice library there. The community comes out. A local senior center was invited out to do a tour. Their staff is very responsive. The assisted living has meals, but the independent-living doesn't have any meals. They had a large community area for various needs and activities.
