I toured Live Love Lake Senior Living. It was all great. The scenery is gorgeous. Kelly, the owner, is super helpful. It's small and intimate. There was a staff member, and one person always lives there. The people I met seemed wonderful and very nice. It's an old house that she redid into smaller, intimate senior care, and the surroundings - it's on the lake. It's beautiful, and they have outdoor spaces.

This place is awful. My parents stayed there, with much hope, for nearly 3 months before we had to pull them out for lack of care. The food was nothing but carbs and anything that was easy and cheap to make, like pizza, pasta, leftovers, pancakes, etc. They have things to do there, like board and card games, but no real activities. When we pulled my parents out, they had sheets stained with fecal matter and urine, and they also smelled like they hadn't taken a bath in weeks. We discovered they has a bunch of missed medication, too, since the staff didn't really make sure it was taken. Payment to the owner was easy, but she was very slow to fill out any paperwork for reimbursement. After we pulled my parents out, she continued to try to get them to move back, trying to win my dad over by taking him to appointments, and having him extract money from the bank, and also trying to curry favor and get involved in his legal and financial affairs. User beware. It's been a struggle ever since they moved in (and moved out).

What a fantastic place! This facility has a wonderful view on the lake, it was really clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We wanted to come check it out and decide where to go for a good senior living facility.
