The owner is no longer actively engaged or monitoring the facility and his business. Food served is excessively processed, frozen food and not fresh, low salt, or low fat. Kitchen is small. Diet not at all for elderly. Staff in general seems nice enough for a few moments interaction but is not managed or supervised well and is mainly family/friends. Staff eat facility's food and use their electric and water to wash personal laundry. Robbery occurred in past year making security and safety a concern. Activities are few and far between anymore. Training on a number of levels is lacking.. Living area is small. Residents on lower level with less dementia are less attended to in general. There is plenty of room for improvement ...

Precious Care was recommended to me, and I had placed my father there and doing well. It’s really good for the older folks like my father, and it's always geared towards what they’re capable of plus it’s accessible.

I would not go with Precious Care because it was not well-kept, felt very cramped and very crowded, and was more like a house, not a facility. We basically walked in and walked out. It didn’t seem like an uplifting place nor would they take care of his needs in a timely manner. It was basically a house with bedrooms, a small dining area, and living room where people just sit and watch TV. They had yoga classes.

My mother was at Precious Care. They were wonderful. They only had 14 clients. They're marvelous. They had amazing staff, and they had an amazing owner. The facility was very clean. They had very dedicated staff.
