The staff is very nice and caring. She will be in a room which is not huge, but enough for a dresser and a chair. They share a bathroom with each other. "

"Dad was at Mesquite Tree for a couple of months. He hated it because he felt like he had been dumped there and let's face it....it's not an attractive place. He received such good care and the staff kept me informed of everything. I appreciate that he was treated with dignity at all times. Some patients were dumped by their families but I can honestly say that I witnessed only patience and kindness. "

"My husband is at Broadmoor Medical Lodge and so far, our experience has been good. I think a lot of the staff, anytime I have questions or suggestions or anything, are always right there to help me with my answers or to make things the way I want them. My husband's room is large and he has another bed in his room (it's not a single room), and I think he'll be happier when he gets a roommate. The food is delicious. I love it. They make chicken and rice there, and he loves that. When I was there one day, they were having karaoke, and that was fun. All of them were enjoying that, and then they had a beer float. So, they do some things to make the activities fun for them."

"My mother was at Edgewood Rehabilitation And Care Center for 21 days. The care was very good. They did all they could for my mother and were very helpful. The interaction with the staff was excellent. My mother's room had two beds, but she was the only one in the room at the time. They had sections of the building for recreation and socialization. They also had an exercise room where they had a variety of equipment. They would take my mother to these rooms, give her socialization, and work on getting her to walk again."

" I stayed in this facility for 3 weeks. The room was spaciousness with a lovely view. Housekeeping came in daily to clean it, floors, bathroom, bedding and surfaces. This facility does not have the smell or atmosphere of a nursing home. My daughter chose this place for me. She said she went to all the facilities in the area and turned around and walked out without further inspection. Highland Meadows was the only one she toured and was impressed with the atmosphere. The doctor and his assistant are amazing, gentle, with the very best bedside manner I've ever encountered. They studied my case and history and made physicians orders that met my special needs and they kept me out of pain so I could heal. Except for two days, they visited me every day for 20 days to monitor my progress and made certain the nurses were following their physicians orders. The nurses were kind and helpful. There are specialty nurses for certain needs such as wound care. Everyone had a cheerful attitude. The personal care staff were very knowledgeable and attentive and there was no one I didn't like. I had one incident that caused an issue when there was a delay in the nurse call button being answered in a timely manner. The issue was addressed by the supervisor. They are generous with the food, and they receive visitors with open arms. I truly felt like everyone had my best interest at heart. The therapies are excellent and one weekend PT told me he works full time at another facility and fills in at several other nursing facilities and none of them even come close to being as good as this place. Highland Meadows tries very hard to provide a safe, pleasant place to heal. "

"The staff is very friendly and treat the residents like family. My mother lived there for 6 years and they took great care of her. If I ever had questions or concerns, I would talk with the staff and they would correct the problem. I highly recommend Town East. "

"My mother-in-law is in long-term care right now at the Willowbend Nursing facility. The facility is very nice and very clean. There is no odor. The rooms are fine. She initially shared a semi-private room. She is on a pureed food diet. The staff has been fine and is really nice to work with. They are very understanding and very sympathetic. She is at peace at this facility. "

"My mother was at Palomino Place for 21 days. It was excellent in all categories. As far as the money, insurance took care of it. It was very accessible and easy to navigate. It was a little newer, so it was a little nicer. They had done excellent work with Mom. I highly would recommend them. The interaction with the staff was excellent, too."

"They did a good job with healthy food and cleanliness, but their interaction with residents was not what I would desire. Also, they weren't good about calling the doctor, hospital, or next of kin when medical care was needed. They would wait for local nurses to look over patients and try healing them for about a week before calling anyone. Because of this my grandfather's health ended up failing. The doctor who was finally called in said he wouldn't have lost his life if he would have received proper treatment sooner. "
