"My relative is at Focused Care at Waxahachie. It's an older facility, but they've been in the process of redoing it until they had to stop. Sometimes, the food is questionable; that's the only issue I have. Most of the staff are good, but the turnover seems to be a lot. As far as the pricing goes, they take her Medicare. She's in a shared room. Up until the Covid, they had pretty good social things with the people there. She gets to go outside, and she can go out in the parking lot into the pharmacy next door, and to the church behind them. They cut their hair once a week or once every two weeks."

"The Village at Heritage Oaks was nice. They were very helpful, friendly, and reasonable. The residents were having lunch at that time. There are quite a few things where they can watch movies, and they have an activity room. I know they do crafts and things like that. I looked at a one-bedroom, and I liked it. It was nice. The place has been repainted and remodeled."

"Renaissance Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a wonderful nursing home. My dad is currently there. It used to be called Trinity Nursing Facility but someone else bought it. It's better than the one my brother is in. Right at the moment, it's going through a renovation so everything is a little bit messed up. It is an older nursing facility. It's not this high-tech and fancy nursing home, like the ones that are going up. This one's been around for a long time. The staff is extremely caring. When I walk in there, they're always smiling. The place is always clean. I can call anytime, night or day, to check up on my dad. I feel very comfortable with him there. He mainly enjoys just talking to other people. He has dementia. When he first got there, they had what they called a wine-and-cheese social, and they got the residents there and had different activities. Daddy enjoys just walking around, he's in a wheelchair, and just visiting with everybody. They say he'll come up and tell them hi and they all greet him. He might say something out of the ordinary and they would just go along with him. They just kept him very, very comfortable so I'm pleased with it. I had thought about moving him to where my brother is, but at the same time, I just feel like he's a lot better where he is now. When I had to find a facility for my dad to go into, Christie helped me get Dad from a hospital in Dallas to their facility. She arranged everything and she set my mind at ease. It was the easiest transition from what I had been through the past month so I was very pleased. When I was there, the food smelled wonderful. I haven't eaten any of it but my dad says it's really good."

"I have had several relatives in Twilight home through out the years. I also visit it often. I must say it is one of the nicest homes that I have ever visited. Great Staff , very clean, friendly and welcoming environment. You just cant leave with out having a great feeling about this place. Keep up the great work."

"When you walked into Red Oak Health and Rehabilitation Center, it smelled like a nursing home or a rehab. The rooms were drab and dreary. My brother stayed there for two weeks, and then I moved him up here to Plano. It's an older place. I think it's probably the only rehabilitation place in Red Oak, and it looks like it's been there forever. The rooms needed to be updated and painted to make them a little bit more cheery for some of the people that were there. He never went to therapy at that place. They would come into his room and do it while he was sitting in the bed. He was worse off back then than he is now. He didn't feel like doing a whole lot when he went into Red Oak. The staff was OK. I tried to be patient with the staff because they've got a lot of things going there. My brother didn't get along with some of them, but they tried to do the best they could. Sometimes the food looked good, sometimes it didn't."

"I visited this facility and the staff was friendly and welcoming! The residents seemed to be happy, well groomed, and appeared to be over all well taken care of. Housekeeping was working on floors, the air was fresh, and no odors were noticed. Nursing was very attentive. Overall I would recommend. "

"My friend is in rehab at Millbrook. It seems like a good place for him to be right now. They take care of him pretty good. He has a decent room, and the nurses seem good. They help him eat. He has a big room, and he has a TV and a loveseat in there. They also have the entertainment area where people were sitting and watching TV. They have a dining room. It's a pretty nice place. The first room he had was dirty, but the nurses did the best they could, and they moved him to a different room."

"This is our second time for rehabilitation. The facility looks better and is cleaner the our last visit. Our mother is going for the rehabilitation to long term care side. But we have seen no difference in care or staffing. The care seems to be good regardless of where you are in the building. "

"This is a wonderful facility that cares about its residents. They took such great care of my mother and I was so happy we found MHC. The admin staff helped my family through all necessary steps needed for her to stay in their facility. The day to day care of the nursing staff was amazing. There were several nurses and aides that went the extra mile caring for my mother and making her comfortable. The administration, therapy and nursing staff care about families, residents and each other. I would highly recommend this beautiful facility to anyone. My family can not thank them enough."

"My sister is at Methodist Transitional Care Center. She has been there for two and a half weeks now. They do physical therapy. They're pretty good. I would give them high marks. The atmosphere is pretty positive. Cleanliness was an issue, but in fairness, they corrected it right away. The problem there is they're short-staffed, and you can tell it affects the quality of the staff. Physical therapy is excellent. My sister's room is clean. They have activities and stuff there also. I know they play bingo and they have puzzles they work with them on. There are some more, but those are the ones that come to mind. The community dining area is very clean and spacious."

"The facility itself is very well sanitized. Immediately when you walk in you get the familiar smell of ammonia you find in most medical facilities. The manager, David, works very hard and cares very much for his business. The staff is what causes me to give the facility the 3 star rating, while in the presence of management or the state, the are very attentive, however, otherwise you will find a lacking sense of urgency in matters both medical and non-medical matters. I have seen many cases of patients with call lights flashing for long periods of time, or screaming patients on the floor. Overall, the facility is well kept and has potential to be a lot better. "
