"My mother is at River Grove Health and Rehabilitation. It's an older building, and it's very well-maintained. The nursing staff and the hospice staff, you can tell that they genuinely care. They are coming in to check on my mother constantly. They will hug her and they ask her if she needs anything. The whole place has been great. My mother has a shared room and for the first week or two, she was the only one in it. But since then, it has been shared. The staff are so friendly. They call and give me updates. When they got ready to administer the first of the liquid morphine to help her breathe easier, they called and asked if that was okay and let me know that they were going to do it. Everything has been good with the whole staff. The place is one level. You press a code to get in, and you press a code to get out for the residents' safety. It's just nice. The hallways are always clear. It has a nice courtyard area for the residents. It's a really nice place. The staff are just phenomenal. "

"My 95 year old mother was an Alzheimer’s patient at NHC in Oak Ridge until her passing after a year of residence. In our experience, all of the staff was very responsive, professional, upbeat, and caring. The facility was clean and the meals appeared balanced and healthy. She was immobile but she was taken to an area in a wheelchair daily for social interaction. She was checked on routinely during the day. Her room was cleaned daily. Our family was very satisfied with the care provided.."

"I have spent a little over a month. The building is a building but the staff that work here are what makes it great. I give staff a 10. Nursing Jennifer is amazing so caring. CNAs Tanya and Brenda just to name a few are awesome. Therapy Scottie and Kerry got me back to where I need to be and able to go back home. I would highly recommend Diversicare to anyone needing rehab and nursing needs."

"The staff are very warm and friendly. Great relationships were made while I was here. Food was great. Activity director really understood my needs. I even got to paint and get a manicure! Overall good experience and I recommend to all. I did have a roommate but I made a true friend. The rooms were kept clean all of the time. "

"Mom is at NHC Farragut, and the facility is really good. The staff are also good. I like the environment, and the facility itself is very nice. The caretakers are responsive to her needs. If she needs something there, they are pretty quick. The food is pretty good, but it used to be a little better. It has gone down a little bit. They don’t have as many choices as they used to. "

"My father is at Wyndridge Health and Rehab Center. They take very good care of him. The rooms are very clean and very big. The food is very good, too. He doesn't go down to the activity room, but they come in there to try to interact with him. They have a rec room where they do movies and activities. The staff members are very caring and very professional. It is an older building, but it is very well maintained."

"It’s clean, light and airy. Has a clean smell. The furniture is in good condition, in and out of the residence rooms. The staff is excellent. Food is very satisfactory. Would not have my love one anywhere else."

"This is a fantastic home. My father, who has dementia, has been for about 5 years. He is kept clean and well fed. He always comments about the good food. The place is spotless. All homes are expensive, but this one was no more expensive than other places in Knoxville. Plus, the cost of diapers is covered. My dad is a difficult man to manage, especially with dementia, but they do a beautiful job with him. Most rooms are dual occupancy with a twin size bed, closet, and chest for each resident. He never participated in many activities, but before COVID, he did get to go on field trips. He usually attends church service onsite as well. "

"Here have been so many wonderful changes I have seen take place since the new owners and new management has arrived. The focus is on patients and their care now. I love being able to talk to the new director and administrator at any time and see they actually do something! "

"My husband is at Legacy Park Health and Rehabilitation. It is right behind where we live, so that has worked out beautifully. I come over to visit every day. He is in rehab at the moment. It's a five-story building, and they have different services available on different floors. My husband loves the people who work here. They have very nice physical therapy on the first floor, and he goes down every day with one of the people who takes him down and enjoys that tremendously. He gets three meals a day, and he loves that tremendously, too. They had a musical program on one of the floors, and we went down to that the other afternoon. There are just a variety of things going on there. He is in a typical hospital-sized room. They have several different sizes, and he's in the smaller room. The upkeep looks fine to me. Every floor has a dining room. It's surrounded by windows on three sides, and just a delightful area to be in and enjoy. We had a special dinner the other evening there. They furnished my husband and me, and my son food, and it was good. All I have to go on is the calendar, but the activities look good to me because I like to play bingo, and I like listening to music."

"My father has been a patient in the rehab center multiple times over the last several years -- enough for me to have a lot of experience as his family support member. My first impression was the building is old and the interior decorating is less than appealing. but the rooms are spacious and have big windows, so my father is happy. We go back because the expertise and care by the rehab and nursing staff has been very good and well-suited to my feeble father's needs. The fancier places in West Knoxville were not able to meet his needs as well as West Hills. The food is adequate and has improved over time. I have always had excellent communication with staff members and been treated with respect. It's not a fancy place, but the rehab care is very good. My father is cared for like he was family and that matters a great deal to him. I have and will continue to recommend West Hills to those looking for rehab care."
