My mother is in River Grove Health and Rehabilitation. She gets the proper care that she needs, and they are usually very informative if anything goes wrong. The facility is very clean and the building is in good condition. The staff is awesome. They work well with my mom because she doesn't speak at all. So, they're very good at being patient with her.

My grandfather was in river grove for 3 weeks for rehabilitation, he was never taken out of the bed, shaved or bathed. He had the biggest bed sores on the back of his ankles when we pulled him from there and he died less than 2 weeks later.

My mother is at River Grove Health and Rehabilitation. It's an older building, and it's very well-maintained. The nursing staff and the hospice staff, you can tell that they genuinely care. They are coming in to check on my mother constantly. They will hug her and they ask her if she needs anything. The whole place has been great. My mother has a shared room and for the first week or two, she was the only one in it. But since then, it has been shared. The staff are so friendly. They call and give me updates. When they got ready to administer the first of the liquid morphine to help her breathe easier, they called and asked if that was okay and let me know that they were going to do it. Everything has been good with the whole staff. The place is one level. You press a code to get in, and you press a code to get out for the residents' safety. It's just nice. The hallways are always clear. It has a nice courtyard area for the residents. It's a really nice place. The staff are just phenomenal.

Staff are friendly and my loved one was provided the care they needed. Would recommend to anyone. Residents are always invited to attend activities and there are multiple activities to do every day. Rooms are clean.

Nice people who work there, but they must be understaffed, because my father did not receive the basic care he should have. He was only bathed twice a week, his linens were frequently dirty, and they did not clean his catheter daily as they should have. He fell twice when it took too long for an aide to come and help him to to the bathroom, and he got up himself. My mother was there daily and was able to advocate for him, but most of the residents didn't have that many visitors. I shudder to think of the conditions they must have been left in.

This facility is very poorly run. I had a family member there that was not bathed unless requested and was sent to the hospital with severe dehydratration. The member said she rarely received water. If you love your family do not send here!

My mother was well taken care of at Loudon Health Care as a resident for approx. one year. She had good food to eat and was bathed on a regular basis. This facility has planned activities daily. I highly recommend Loudon Health Care!
