"I visited Marion Manor Nursing Home Inc when I worked as a youth leader. It was an old facility. The atmosphere was bright and cheery. The staff were friendly. They did a great job at keeping the place clean. There were also activities available. "

"My experience was a one of under staffing. There were several times it took literally hours to speak with a nurse. On several occasions my uncle would be need attending to and not receive it for a very long period of time. When I brought up my concerns with the nurse in charge I was treated rudely. Having volunteered at nursing homes before I was fully aware this wasn't normal or acceptable. I had to go to his doctor, and the owner of the facility before I got any helpful information. Shortly after a meeting with the facilities directed more staff were hired. For the most part the rooms were kept clean. There were some problems with my uncles possessions being stolen.The physical attributes of the facility were just fine and very accommodating. I just found the staff to be unhelpful and not capable of the duty put on their shoulders. "

"My Mother is Phyllis. The people are so gentle and respectful of her. Tonight when they were putting her to bed. I watched, she winked at them. That means she is Happy. "Morningview Pointe was a very old place. It was not well-maintained. When I visited, I felt sad when I walked inside. It was small and congested. There was not enough space for the residents to move around. Cleanliness should be improved. The place should have more open spaces and should be tidied up "

"My husband is in Crestline Nursing Center. He complains about the food, but I don't know how it is. He's okay with the staff, and they're acceptable to me. They're giving him rehab, he's in a semi-private room, and there's another man there with him. The dining area is down the hall, it's large, but he eats in his room. He can go play bingo, and they've got televisions for them. The atmosphere is nice."

"The staff is amazing. My father suffered a massive stroke and we took him there for care during his final few days. The staff was caring, kind, and prompt with his care. The team was attentive to my father and to our family. Couldn’t have asked for better care."

"My grandmother was a resident at Centerburg Pointe for two years. The staff provided great care to her, treated her as family of their own. She was able to keep some of her normal routine, even with her limited mobility. Her early morning cup of coffee and warm washcloth to wash her face. This let her still feel a sense of independence and was important to her. Activities were provided as needed; she had lots of visitors. Our family and grandmother's friends were provided areas to gather and were made comfortable to visit. My grandmother enjoyed her meals and was offered alternatives for meals she didn't. Her room was always clean and smelled. Our family appreciated the care and peace of mind provide to our very loved mother and grandmother."

"My friend is in ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. The people there are super nice and they treat you like you're the only person there. Even though they're short-staffed, which every place is, they give it their all and they made her feel a lot more welcome and not so much a burden there and that was a feeling she needed. They help her get up to go to the bathroom or get up to do anything. The cleanliness looked real good. What she needs, she gets pretty easy. I have not heard her complain about it. The staff seemed good. I've seen activities, and my friend said they got quite a bit there. I was just listening to what she has said and her roommate. She's happy with it, and it's working out for her."

"Mom is in Ohio Living Sarah Moore now because she needs 24-hour care. The place is super clean. They make it very homey, and it doesn't feel like you're walking into a facility. There's always somebody at the front desk to help you. The staff is really good, and their service is really great, but they're still training a few people. So, they could use a little boost there. They call me with updates. I also get updates once a week from the doctor that comes to visit. They make sure to try to include her in any activities that they have. They try to get all their residents out of the room for a little bit and include them in activities, or they move them to areas where they can sit by the window or just to kind of get them around and get active. They do sitting exercises and movies. They take the residents out to lunch and they also do stroll drives around the city to look at the trees and the parks. Mom is more active there than she would have been at home. They have a really pretty courtyard. They also have a front porch area and a library. I never tried the food, but when I get there, Mom's plate is always empty. I know they serve three meals a day. And when they do activities, they provide snacks."

"Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield was a nice facility and it would meet my family member's needs. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility was very, very clean. The rooms were very spacious. All the rooms were private. It was a very good experience."

"My brother is in a nursing home called Whispering Hills. He is not capable of assisted living. If he can go into assisted living facility later on after he improves, then maybe we have something else. He is adapting very well, and he is in a much nicer facility than the one he had in New York. We are very happy with it. The room is nice and spacious. He has a window that overlooks a wooded area. Right now, he is in a room by himself. He doesn't have a roommate, so he is quite happy. They were very helpful in working with us to bring Bob over here. The security and maintenance of this facility is good. They are the most helpful and the friendliest place that we have talked to in our search. The one thing that they can improve on is the furniture; it could be in better shape since it is a bit worn out. "

"My mom was at Winchester Terrace and I didn't like that place. When you talk to one of the staff about something and then you call back to check on it, you get someone else that has no idea what you're talking about. It was pandemic time, though, and they had to move my mom from her room to a different room. They lost 50% of her clothing and we called several times. They told us that they found some, but it was just a small amount from what was still missing. They said they would keep looking, but we never heard from them again. She laid in her room for three days, and nobody came to help her with anything. That's why we ended up taking her out and bringing her to our house. Now, she's doing much better. Some of the staff were very friendly and very cooperative. It just depends on who you talk to. Some seemed to care and act on it and some didn't. She was supposed to get physical therapy twice a day and we found out she hadn't even had it yet. We had to stay on top and let them know that we were watching them. The place wasn't very clean either. The floor in her room needed to be mopped. There was no activity other than her therapy and bathing her and stuff like that, which might be partly for her situation."
