Director of nursing and the assistant Director of nursing are the most unprofessional and unfriendly people! They speak to their staff poorly and with very little respect. Would not recommend this place!

I would never recommend this facility to anyone. The care they provided for my mom was terrible. She lost about 40 lbs in about 4 weeks, they weren’t hydrating her so needless to say she ended up in the emergency room and was severely malnourished (doctors words). She has dementia, so doesn’t really know what’s going on most of the time. The staff stopped giving her blood pressure and heart medicine because my mom said she didn’t want to take them. I don’t understand how you would let a patient in that condition make those kinds of decisions. She also needed help with eating. They told us they were taking her to the dining room for dinners and helping her eat. Needless to say after loosing 40lbs in a short amount of time, they weren’t taking her to the dining room. The staff would come in and set her food on the tray and ask if she wanted to eat, if she said no, which was pretty much all the time, they would simply walk out and not care if she ate or not. Same goes with her medication. There’s no care at this facility. When I was doing window visits, my moms room was next to the emergency exit, so the staff would prop the door open and there was at least 2 people out there smoking non-stop. So, they were always short handed because 2 people were always outside smoking. We would also have care conference calls and the staff was constantly telling us stuff that wasn’t true. I would never recommend this place for anyone to put there loved one’s in.

My mother is in Mill Creek. We chose it because it's 24/7 care. They have bingo; visitors who come in to play the piano, play guitar, and sing; and arts and crafts. The staff members are very nice and helpful. I'm very impressed with them. You ask questions, and they're right there to answer them.
