The staff is amazing. My father suffered a massive stroke and we took him there for care during his final few days. The staff was caring, kind, and prompt with his care. The team was attentive to my father and to our family. Couldn’t have asked for better care.

The facility is clean and fresh smelling. Staff is polite and smiling. Residents are all well taken care of. This has been a good experience for my family. We were hesitant to place our mother in a facility but I am glad we did.

Care was below sub par, you would go in and clothes were filthy, and people that were not cognizant, always ate cold food. Being put in a Jerry-chair, for hours on end, was just illegal in 2012. It was the almighty dollar. Would never recommend it at all.

Altercare of Bucyrus is a beautiful facility. The facility is not too small and not too large. I don't believe that a resident staying at Altercare would feel like a number, and the facility is large enough to have a full team of care professionals that can assist with every aspect of care. The staff at Altercare is excellent. I have been in the facility multiple times and they have always been friendly, and go out of their way to help. Residents can be found in their spacious rooms, in the cafeteria, the activity room, or one of the porches or other outdoor areas at all times. The facility always has some type of event or entertainment going on there to keep the residents entertained. One of the things this facility is most known for is their food. The food is delicious. The kitchen does an excellent job preparing healthy and great tasting meals every day of the week. Overall Altercare of Bucyrus is a very good facility.
