My mom was at Winchester Terrace and I didn't like that place. When you talk to one of the staff about something and then you call back to check on it, you get someone else that has no idea what you're talking about. It was pandemic time, though, and they had to move my mom from her room to a different room. They lost 50% of her clothing and we called several times. They told us that they found some, but it was just a small amount from what was still missing. They said they would keep looking, but we never heard from them again. She laid in her room for three days, and nobody came to help her with anything. That's why we ended up taking her out and bringing her to our house. Now, she's doing much better. Some of the staff were very friendly and very cooperative. It just depends on who you talk to. Some seemed to care and act on it and some didn't. She was supposed to get physical therapy twice a day and we found out she hadn't even had it yet. We had to stay on top and let them know that we were watching them. The place wasn't very clean either. The floor in her room needed to be mopped. There was no activity other than her therapy and bathing her and stuff like that, which might be partly for her situation.
