"Rawlins House & Fall Creek looked clean. They offer three meals a day and assistance with anything you need. The staff was very friendly. The girl I met was great. The nurses at the nurses' station acknowledged me."

"Hamilton Trace was a nice facility. The apartments were nice as well. The staff was very friendly. I like its convenience to where I live. So, it would be close for me to go and visit my dad if needed. I like that it's a bigger facility, because they tend to have memory care for Alzheimer's/dementia patients."

"Facility-wise, Harbour Manor & The Lodge was very clean and very nice. The rooms they got weren't as big as the rooms that I visited in the other two facilities, but they were still nice. The young lady did a nice job. Her name was Brooke, and I would rate her very high. She's very knowledgeable and very friendly. She toured me to the whole facility. She took me into one of the private rooms and showed me all the different things that they did. They also had a movie room and just about everything the other facilities had."

"If you don't mind underhanded staff, having to fix issues that they caused with Medicaid every couple of months, and dirty surroundings then this is the place for you! I am trying to move my dad oyt of there. The care is substandard. They don't call and let you know when your loved one fell, much less send them out to the hospital. My dad had to deal with pain over night. They called early the next evening to inform me that my dad was on his way to the hospital. After an er visit and xrays it was determined that he had dislocated his shoulder. He also chipped the upper arm bone. He had to go to a specialist for a while over it. He sat there in the nursing home for 24 hours in that condition. He was in pain. They only called when they had already sent him out in an ambulance. I there are two counties between me and my dad. I will not ever put him in a nursing home that lacks reviews. I will make surprise visits before I commit to the new place. Miller's of Middletown smells horrible and is anything but clean. Don't take my word for it. Go check for your self. You will learn that it is everything I claim and more. They have been investigated so many times by adult protective services that I am amazed that they are still in operation. "

"This facility has shown my family great hospitality each and everyday. Especially this thanksgiving. They made great effort to accommodate our family for a family meal. The food was outstanding and the service was better. Thank you for making this day special for our family. "

"This facility is completely changed from its former self of just 2 years ago. Glenn is the new administrator. He's considered by many of my friends in the medical field as the best in the county. He has completely turned the place around. From a one star rating, it will soon be a 4 or 5 star. Many of the workers are still there from the past, but many were replaced if they weren't doing their jobs. The food is great, the caring is there from everyone I've met. I highly recommend it. My 95-year old mom lives there. They are finishing up a half-million dollar remodeling of the entire facility. One wing of rooms is even single occupancy now. "

"My grandmother was a resident at Countryside and I cannot say enough, how great their staff is! She was a new dialysis patient and Countryside's therapy team did a great job working around her chair time as well as the care team providing support to our family. Countryside's team truly made my grandmother feel apart of their family. We've been told they are opening an in house dialysis center and should she need any rehab, she said Countryside is the only way to go! "

"We went to Bethany Pointe Health Campus. It was a very good tour. The people who work there are very nice. The rooms were a little small. Upkeep was fine. They have a lot of activities there, and they have an area where you can go and have meetings or bring your family to a little building. They have an exercise room. We liked it there. It's just too small. The food was good. The dining area was clean and big."

"Northview Health And Living is kept very well and the grounds are nice. The room is just kind of small, but everything else is fabulous. So far, the staff have been lovely. The aides are friendly and compassionate. The admissions people were very helpful and so far I would give them all high remarks. My mother is limited because she has macular degeneration, but they do therapy with her Monday through Friday and they have music activities. For the other residents, they have games, cards, and movies. She has participated in singing and piano playing. Today, I believe, they're doing a church service or a Bible study. My mother is gluten-free and they have tried very hard to accommodate her diet. I give them high marks there."

"We went there to visit with the residents. Some of them were ok, but most were kinda off. They sat out in the hall mostly, in wheelchairs or in beds. A lot of them were broken spirited. The whole place smelled of urine and feces. The staff was inattentive. At one point, I heard one of the residents screaming. I asked one of the nurses about it and he shrugged, "She does that all the time. She will stop soon."My visit to this facility was probably one of the most troubling experiences I've ever had. "

"We transferred my grandmother to the memory care unit of Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center a couple of months ago. The staff is extremely caring. They individualized her care and put her first. They have an activity center and activity assistants in the memory care unit, with activities directed at people with dementia. So, it gets them involved and it keeps them out of their rooms. My grandmother, she's rarely in her room now. She found some friends, so she's active socially there now. I know when they do the snacks and the coffee, she loves sitting with a couple of other ladies, having coffee and cookies, and they would kind of gossip as friends do. She has a shared room but there's plenty of room to be able to have her bed and a recliner, and then of course a dresser for her clothes and a television. So, it's kind of like a small efficiency apartment. They have a restroom in the room. Even though it's small, there's still plenty of room to put what she needs. The office manager who handles the financial side has been very difficult to deal with. When you're putting your family member in an Alzheimer's unit, that's hard enough, much less having to deal with someone who's not very kind at times. Besides the office manager, the staff is very kind. The administrator, I have spoken to him before, and he was extremely kind. I think they need to work on some customer service education for that particular occupation of the business office, and understand how to handle people who are in this situation for the first time. Most people don't understand how Medicaid and Medicare work and they need guidance. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very caring for here especially when she started to really get worse off. The environment its self was very clean and bright. I talked to many residence and all of them were extremely happy with the care they were being given and the moral support from the staff. I have had many dinners at the home and the food was always great and healthy. It is fairly centrally located and therefor easy to get to. they also provide trips to the residents and family, things like bowling and such. they have many activities to do around the home. they have board games and bingo and all the things loved by the current older generation. I would surely recommend this to any family going through the tough time of finding a place for parents or grandparents to stay. They will make the process easy and you will know your family member is in good hands. "

"We chose Westminster Village Muncie, but my parents haven't moved in yet. The place is very clean, very modernized, and very friendly. I only met a few staff, and they seem very accommodating. Whatever you need, they will do. They have three different phases. The one we visited is just for living on their own, unless something changes and they can move over to the other side. It is a really nice set-up. It's like the Taj Mahal; it's beautiful. It is clean, but it doesn't smell like cleaning stuff. It is presented really nice. What was nice about them, too, is that they have their own official mailbox. It has its own key, so nobody can get your mail besides you. People can't sort through the mail, like they did at this place in Tennessee. It's a slot you drop down in, so it's secure, too."

"I was first greeted by the driver for the Health Campus. He told me it was a wonderful place and he had a family member there and it was a great place. Then I talked with Sandra the community service representative. . What a kind and wonderful woman. She showed me around the place and introduced the staff. Everyone I met there was so kind and understanding. The building is wonderful and very clean. They have many activities and entertainment for their people. I looked at many places in a 100 mile radius. This was by far the best for the money."

"My mother lived in Morrison Woods Health Campus, and I also toured the place just last week. It is a beautiful place and a very nice campus. The people that run it are very nice too. They're very caring, and I had no complaints with them. They're outstanding, because the fact that they were under a lot of pressure with COVID, they did the best they could possibly do, I'm sure. This last year, they didn't have many activities. They brought the meals to the rooms, which they had to do, but they have a beautiful dining room normally, and very good food normally. Then they had things like a cakewalk, happy hours on Fridays, and entertainment for the people on Friday evenings with mixed drinks, like wine and soft drinks. Those were all cancelled because of COVID, but I think they're getting back to it now. It's out in the country, not in a big city. There's grounds around it, so there aren't huge buildings or anything. They have an excellent therapy group, a nice parking lot, and they have a bus that used to take them wherever they could go. Their rooms are all one floor. It's just one of the best. As far as the price goes, I would give them an outstanding rating all the way around."
