Miller's Merry Manor

My mom is staying at Miller's Merry Manor and it's horrible. They don't do what they're supposed to do and do what they want to do. My mom gets burnt food and they also take her call light button from her. The staff and services are horrible. It's not a place I would recommend to anybody. The rooms are not clean. My mom just sits in her room and in her bed all the time. They don't offer activities to my mom. We pay for food but my mom doesn't get it because they run out of food. They're bossy and when I'm talking to other people they stick their nose into my business and they tell me to shut up.

I was not impressed for care regarding therapy there in Chesterfield. My mother was there for 3 months for therapy. She was also on oxygen and one day a care giver did not turn the canister on when she got on the wheelchair. And her room was far away from the therapy room. The care giver refused to push her there and left her in the hallway. She pushed herself and barely came close to the therapy room ready to pass out. The worker failed to turn her oxygen on. I was furious for this mistreatment and stupid mistake. I informed them to never allow that worker near my mother again. The head nurse seemed unconcerned. I asked the staff how would they feel if someone did that to their mother. They didn't answer my question. I would never recommend that place or any other Miller's Merry Manor.

This facility has shown my family great hospitality each and everyday. Especially this thanksgiving. They made great effort to accommodate our family for a family meal. The food was outstanding and the service was better. Thank you for making this day special for our family.

While visiting this facility I found it to be very clean. The staff greated me upon my arrival and directed me to where I was looking to go. I was very impressed with both the people and the facility and have been very happy with their care for my family member. I would highly recemend this facility for anyone looking for a great place for a loved one. The place has a great track record. Someone mentioned they are employee owned so I will look into what exactly that means. I always see the same people there and they always wave and smile and seem happy to be there. The director of the facility has taken the time to introduce himself to me as well which I found very impressive. I often see him walking around and talking to the other residents there.
