"My visit to French Park was good. The staff was good, and the food was good as well. The people I met there were happy. They do so many things, and they have Bingo. The rooms were okay. "

"Mom had to go to Carehouse as she had an operation, but then I found out that they have permanent residence also. I was able to experience some of the care whilst she was there because she was there for about 10 days. The room was old because the temporary part was coming in, but I didn’t care for that too much. They did have the facility OK to get help right from the nursing staff, but it was old. The outside was beautiful, inside not too much. They will bring the food to her on the tray, but they can eat in the dining hall if they’re able. Most of the staff that I met was very were really sweet people, nice, and caring. They have a calendar with activities almost every day, so it’s wonderful. When somebody has a birthday, they actually put them in a wheelchair, everybody is lined up, they’re like going "look out, hurray," and they’re throwing stuff to them and singing happy birthday. "

"This is a 135 Bed acute care Nursing Killed Hospital for seniors. They are well staffed by true well educated professionals. All are attentive and most of all compassionate. The facility is very clean and sterile; housekeeping is on the floors 24/7 to keep all areas clean and sterile for the patients, staff and visitors. The patients are well cared for most are in acute states and are not alert or aware of their surrounding due to their conditions but staff is stellar in the care of each patient in their charge. The rooms are average hospital rooms with hospital beds but they are well decorated and so are the common areas. The food is based on diet but seems to be healthy and well planned menus. If a loved one needs Skilled Nursing Care this is the place to look to. They are professional to the highest degree. 10 out of 5 stars you will not be sorry you choose this facility. "

"At Town & Country Manor, the physical therapy was very professional. They got a good range of therapists, and they were able to help make some progress with my father's condition. "

"My Grandmother spent a few days in this facility after leaving the hospital and it was not a good experience. The facility itself is clean and presents a nice image. However it's all about the care provided and that is where it is sorely lacking. Doctors orders were not followed correctly and this led to a setback in my Grandmothers health and after being there for a few days her condition worsened. Much of the staff had a difficult time communicating with us due to language issues. There were many issues which led us to believe that things were not being done correctly nor attentively. We attempted to talk with the managerial staff and our concerns were not received well. We instead were met with an attitude that was not responsive to our concerns so we decided to immediately arrange for our Grandmother to be transported to another facility where she thrived and was home within a few days. From past experience with other family members in many other facilities we knew what to expect from a nursing home and knew that this nursing home was not providing what it should be. "

"Mom stayed at Orange Healthcare for a month, and the inside looked great. There is a good floor plan; the room is light and bright. They do a good job; that’s why I'd like my mom to stay there, but they don’t have long term. She loves to be with other people, and the food is good. "

"At Royale Health Care Center my father was admitted under the hospice program. There he spent the last few days of his life. The personnel at Royale insured my father was comfortable and free of pain at all times. The night he passed one of the nurses stayed by his side at all times until the end. We never asked him to he did it because he wanted to. You could tell he cared and was concerned about my father being as comfortable as possible. The moment my father passed I knew he was free of pain and that allowed me to accept his loss comfortably not painfully. All the support Royale Health Care Center gave us and the care they provided for my father is un repayable. They took on the stress of all the health care issues and allowed us to spend the last days of my father's life by his side without worries. "

"I did find Fountain Care Center at the time that I needed respite care for my husband. Most places wouldn't take him because he has a feeding tube. It was clean, it seemed reasonable, it was close to family, and I didn't smell anything. It had outdoor areas that were sheltered, so wheelchairs could go out there. He had a shared room, which was pretty rundown, and I was not too happy with it. The dining area was adequate. The activities seemed to be OK, but they didn't always take him down to the activity room, and that was a bit disappointing. The nurses were very good though. He was there for a total of two weeks. "

"She stayed in Country Villa for three weeks. The stay was OK. It was good. There was nothing much you could do except stay in bed, but to me it was good, and they were very nice. It is an old facility, and it could be updated. The room she got is a regular room, and it is OK. The staff is very nice, although sometimes when she pushed to get help, they don't respond right away. I think it is because they don't have enough staff in place. They have activities over there like bingo and church. They have certain things going on. I only attended the bingo while my mother-in-law really likes the church. She only attended the bingo once, and they never took her back in the three weeks she was there. I think she needed to say something. She didn't care for the food at all. "

"I have toured this facility and it is very nice. Clean, well maintained and non-odorous. The social worker is really friendly and she know the patients very well. It is decorated homelike and when you walk thru the facility it does not feel like a nursing home. They have a nice back patio area, where the patients can sit out side. It faces the parking area, so they can see visitors come and go. They have sub-acute, short and lon term care. Patients seem happy and well cared for. I would recommend this facility. "

"The Garden Park Care Center is a well maintained nursing home that is very considerate of the residents. There are many events that the nursing home schedules for the residents and finds plenty of ways to entertain residents including live music, hourly bingo games, and plenty of decorating events that are displayed all around the facility. The meals provided at the nursing home have a lot of variety and are nutritious and accomodates to the special diets of the residents. The building itself is very clean and sanitary and is cleaned very often. There are plenty of volunteers that visit the nursing home and keep the company of the residents when family doesn't visit. There are many nursing homes in the area however this one felt the most cozy and homey with staff that actually wants to take care of loved ones and learns the names of residents to make everything feel more like home. "

"Alta Gardens Care Center has been very good to my family and especially to my father who was a resident. The facility specializes in Vietnamese program with many Vietnamese speaking staff. My father really appreciated the caring staff and he was able to communicate his needs to them in his language. Staff cares with genuine interest. After my father passed away, many of the staff came to the funeral service and gave their condolences. It meant a lot to our family. I was so glad to have my father spend the last of his days there. Thank you Alta Gardens! "

"The thing that I like the most about this facility is the amazing staff. They are all very caring and remember me and my husband by name whenever we go to visit our family member. They are also very proactive when it comes to the mental and physical health of the residents. We are alerted to any severe changes in mood or any medical issues that come up in regards to our family member. The facility is older so some things could be upgraded (i.e. the closets and nightstands in the patient rooms, the flooring in certain areas, and there are issues with cable t.v. reception/hookup) but the it is always clean. The outside areas are kept up nicely and there is an inner courtyard for residents (it's enclosed so patients' with dementia/Alzheimer's can enjoy the outdoors too). The facility is also equipped with an area for physical therapy, and an activity room with events going on all the time to keep the residents entertained and active. "

"I have toured this facility. It is very large - 2 levels. Large corporation-chain. They have sub acute, short term SNF Care and long term. It is not secured. This is a medical setting and patients can be placed in an alternative level of care if it is appropriate. They do not take med-ical. The social worker is very nice and he is very good with customer service issues. This would be a good place for a loved one to go, just after they are released from the hospital and when they need a little more medical supervision. It is very state of the art. I would recommend this facility. "
