My parent lived at The Addison of Durham during their final years, and though they have since passed, I will always be grateful for the incredible care and compassion they received there. The staff truly treated my loved one like family, and that sense of genuine love and dedication meant the world to both of us. From the very beginning, I was struck by the warmth and kindness of everyone at The Addison. The team not only provided exceptional care but also went above and beyond to ensure my parent felt valued, comfortable, and at home. They took the time to get to know them personally—their likes, their needs, and even their quirks—and created an environment where they felt respected and cherished. The community itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who make it truly special. I’ll never forget the small acts of kindness, like a staff member sitting with my parent during a tough day or going out of their way to share a moment of laughter with them. These moments made such a difference during a time that could have otherwise been very difficult. Even now, as I reflect on that chapter of my parent’s life, I feel so much gratitude for The Addison of Durham. It’s comforting to know that they spent their last years in a place filled with love, care, and dignity. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Addison to anyone looking for a community where their loved one will be treated with the utmost respect and compassion.

I went to The Addison to visit a friend. The rooms were nice. She had a bathroom and a shower in her room. It had a big window. The people were very nice and my friend was completely satisfied with the facility. She was very happy there. The dining area was also very nice, and well-lit, and there was plenty of room. The facility was very clean and very nice.
