They have renovated alot of the building. The brand new rooms look great and modern. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They have a big game room with pool tables, games and a seating area to watch movies. The hair salon there is great for my aunt who gets her hair done every month.

I have a family member that resides at the Shire the staff is friendly and caring for my family member. They are remodeling the rooms and other parts of the facility. My family member is happy living at the Shire.

my brother is a resident and it's deplorable I hope he can find another facility. Bed Bugs disgusting, they have many violations, the Board of Health needs to shut them down

Sub standard on every count. It's horrifying RGH recommends and worse yet SENDS people here. It is dirty, dank, dark and dingy. Patients walk about like zombies, hallways are so narrow people need to squeeze by each other. At noontime I saw no one eating in the cafeteria and no food anywhere in sight. Rooms have no bathing, you must wait in line down the hall. Probably the worst home I've seen and I've seen many.

I found the Shire at Culverton to be very dirty. It seemed to be a very depressing atmosphere and a lot of people were unkempt. The staff was not very enthusiastic. I just didn't like it overall.
