"Legacy at Cranberry Landing was small. Everybody was wonderful when we met. The apartments were very nice. They offered outdoor access for my cat. Everyone that we met was very pleasant and they called me back to check how I was doing. They do not serve lunch. They serve breakfast and dinner. It was perfectly clean. You would have no problem moving into any of the available units. They had a movie night. They would clean your apartment. They had a pool table. They had a library. They had a movie room where they would show movies. They had card tables and puzzle tables that you and other people could go to, work in, play cards, or play other games, whatever you wanted to do."

"My grandmother moved in last year and loves it. Every time I visit, she introduces me to staff members and they each seem to know her well. Staff is friendly and the facility is always clean and bright. Would recommend! "

"My aunt has moved into Alpine Manor Home For Adults. It is out in the country, and she likes the country. It is still in the same area where she grew up. From what I've seen, it is a very nice community with very nice people. They run a very good and very caring business. I have been pleased with it so far. I have no complaints. I would give the staff a rating of 5 because of their care and their activity director. There is always stuff to do that engages the adults. The residents can smoke there outside, so that was a big plus for my aunt because she is a smoker. You don't get too many of those facilities that offer that as an option. Blood labs come to them to draw blood. Physical therapy comes to them. So it just makes it really easy for the other family members. The staff members are loving, attentive, and helpful. It's very clean. They come in and do the residents' laundry once a week. They make their beds every day while they're eating breakfast. Cleaning the restroom is a scheduled routine. The common room areas are very nice. There is leather furniture. They have a hairdresser who comes in and does the residents' hair. It is a really nice facility out in the country. My aunt has only been there for less than a week, but I know they do hair, nails, music, arts and crafts. It is completely reasonable to stay there."

"This facility genuinely cares for each person that walks through their doors. They're very detail oriented and make sure that my loved one receives the care that they deserve."

"We are still looking around for facilities that would best fit my Dad. At this point, it's hard for us to judge where he is gonna be best fit until they interview him. So anyway, The Cloisters is one of the facilities we toured. It seemed very homey and clean. It has a nice and friendly atmosphere. The staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable. We only saw one room. It was pretty nice and quite adequate. The residents seemed to be happy and contented about the place. "

"My mother is in Brentland Woods. I like that the staff is very friendly. The facility is very clean. Everyone is professional. They have exercise classes. They have people that come in and sing. They have puzzles that people work on in the activity room, and they have movies. They serve three meals a day. They have a doctor that comes in, and if she needs to be seen by somebody, they will transport her. They have a beauty salon. Someone does her laundry once a week. They clean her apartment and make her bed. She has a leak in her bathroom faucet that is taken care of. My mom wants to know if she can have an English muffin with peanut butter, and they are not serving that, but my sister speaks with somebody in the dining room, and they said they will be able to do that. "

"My aunt has moved into Woodcrest Commons. It is very clean. The staff is wonderful. My aunt is getting great care there. They take care of everything there. They do laundry, they make beds, and they give meds. It's all based on what you want for a resident. My aunt has a one-bedroom apartment. The place is huge. They have a courtyard. It's L-shaped. They have activities every day; they post a schedule. They have lunch, dinner, and breakfast accommodations every day. I highly recommend it."

"Victor Views is beautifully decorated and very homey. The staff is very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. My sister needed rehab after a long and severe illness and Victor Views implemented a care plan that helped her to recover quickly with the support she needed. We are very grateful for the staff and everything they have done for my sister"

"I don't know exactly what to say about Cloverwood Senior Living. It's working out nicely for my mother. The care is good and she's adapting well. It's convenient for me to get to her. She has a one-bedroom apartment that's really nice. She's able to have her own furniture from home. "

"We liked Glenmere Assisted Living & Memory Care because of a couple of things. One was they had all the licenses we needed and then once a person needs to move to a nursing home level, that person would get priority at their nursing home facility. The other big factor was they'll accept Medicaid. The staff was great. They were very responsive and they had everything like all sorts of activities. They do gardening and they had a nice outdoor patio. The place seemed to have a lot of natural light. The rooms were nice and I liked the in-room ability to shower."

"We moved my mom, with mid-stage Alzheimer's, from her home to Wolk Manor. My mom, frankly, is not the easiest person in the world, but we were delighted with the care she received at Wolk. The staff was generous with their time and responsive to her needs. A couple of the staff members formed special relationships with her -- taking extra time to visit with her when able. Though Wolk is affiliate with the Jewish center in Rochester, I would not hesitate to recommend it to non-Jewish residents, provided they are religiously tolerant. However, if you are Jewish, they do have very nice (optional) Shabbat dinners and holiday "

"I'm familiar with Seabury Woods because my mother lived there. However, it is private, so we weren't able to do that for my brother. It's a very good place. My mom passed away, but she was there for years, and it was nothing but a good experience. They're all very caring. They can't do enough to help you answer questions. For a small fee you could have a meal with your loved one, and the food is good. They would have spring dinner and fall dinner. They would make the dining area fancy like a restaurant. They would go out of their way to make things special. My mom's room was like a small apartment. It had a kitchen and a fridge, which she never used. She had a living room, a nice big bathroom, and all the pull cords. They do a lot to make the residents and their family welcome. They would have a party outside where they would bring in an orchestra-type band. They would do a cookout with burgers, hot dogs, and an ice cream truck. It was really very nice. There are activities for them to do. My mom took up painting. We never knew she could paint before, and the paintings that she did were amazing. They would go out to breakfast or lunch once in a while. They have an annual picnic at the Ontario Beach Park with their sister facility. My mom loved going on the big bus, and she was happy there. If you can afford it I highly recommend it, because you get what you pay for."

"Heather Heights was absolutely beautiful. It was a "five" all the way around. From the moment you walked in, it was beautiful, and it had a big entrance. Everything was clean and organized. It was just the way you would want something to look. We got to see everything. We saw a couple of rooms, the dining facilities, and the activity room. They have lots of events going on: exercise, movies, arts and crafts, cooking, travelogues, and all the things you can find in any place like that. The only negative thing was the price is very prohibitive. The kitchen was beautiful. We got to go in the back and talk to a couple of the chefs. Everything was just great."

"The Landing of Brighton was very nice. We looked at the memory care units specifically. We were very impressed with the staff, with the programs, and with the individual who showed us around. Overall, we were positively impressed; however, from our location, it was a long way away. We literally live a mile away. From our proximity/location perspective, it is not as convenient for us. However, we were overall very impressed. The rooms were nice. There were studio apartments. We thought they were very big for memory care. We were impressed in general."
