I'm familiar with Seabury Woods because my mother lived there. However, it is private, so we weren't able to do that for my brother. It's a very good place. My mom passed away, but she was there for years, and it was nothing but a good experience. They're all very caring. They can't do enough to help you answer questions. For a small fee you could have a meal with your loved one, and the food is good. They would have spring dinner and fall dinner. They would make the dining area fancy like a restaurant. They would go out of their way to make things special. My mom's room was like a small apartment. It had a kitchen and a fridge, which she never used. She had a living room, a nice big bathroom, and all the pull cords. They do a lot to make the residents and their family welcome. They would have a party outside where they would bring in an orchestra-type band. They would do a cookout with burgers, hot dogs, and an ice cream truck. It was really very nice. There are activities for them to do. My mom took up painting. We never knew she could paint before, and the paintings that she did were amazing. They would go out to breakfast or lunch once in a while. They have an annual picnic at the Ontario Beach Park with their sister facility. My mom loved going on the big bus, and she was happy there. If you can afford it I highly recommend it, because you get what you pay for.
