My mom was a patient. She had a shunt in her neck that was exposed. I asked two doctors and a snippy nurse to have the wound covered. It took them two days to cover it which she then contacted a strept infection. They released her with the infection and with weeks she passed away. The doctor could care less and I let him know about it. The nurse refused to wear gloves upon attendingj to all the patients. I tried to get her out of that dump and put her in the hospital but they said since she was a patient under care they couldn't send her to another hospital. Do Not I repeat do not let your relative be admitted to that dump. I wrote to the board of health to let them know that their were filthy bloody guaze on the floor. They did nothing. They could care less. Let it be one of theirs, I wonder what they would have done.

I stayed at Rusk Institute, and it was very good. It is very clean, and the food was excellent. I would also highly recommend this facility. I liked the care that was given to me. The physical therapy was very good.

She was in the rehab part of the hospital. The rooms were big even though they did change her room from one location to another. They gave their patients a choice of a meal. It was more like a restaurant kind of a menu. Their service is good
