My dad moved into The Society House. We chose it for the freedom of not being such a normal assisted living place. It's more of an open concept. It's not locked down. It's more like a social setting, more than a home. They have home-cooked meals three times a day. They have game night, movie nights, and socially interactive stuff. You could choose to participate or you could do your own thing and watch TV or walk around. You could make your own food if you want to.
