I am/was a resident of this facility

I'm at The Atrium at Hamilton Park. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. The staff is phenomenal. I brought a lot of my own furniture in with me because I'm going to be here for about a year. It's absolutely lovely. The people here are wonderful. I order food a lot for myself, but they still come up to me and say, "Hey, do you need something," or do I want to get food from the dining room as opposed to my own. The cleaning staff and all of the staff are marvelous here. I couldn't have asked for better. The food surprisingly was very good. For institutional food, it's great. The facility is absolutely beautiful. You've got nice terraces and everything else. They've got a happy hour on Fridays, they've got arts and crafts, all that kind of stuff. I don't participate in them, but they are there, and a lot of people do. I am extremely happy being here. The people are wonderful. They're always there for you.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father was at The Atrium At Hamilton Park. He was on a pretty high level of care. They gave him his medication, and he could not leave the facility. He was there for a month and a half, and then he was able to come home. I thought they were very, very good. It's a very, very nice facility, and I found that their caretakers were quite attentive. They have a beautiful dining room. They can have shared or individual rooms, but it's quite lovely. Nobody wants to be in a long-term place, but it was very well appointed and it was clean. I found that the people who cared for my father were very attentive, caring, and friendly. They have a formal dining room set up, and the food was good. It's institutional food, people will complain, but it was perfectly good food. They had a menu and they had choices that they could have. They had tablecloths and table service, so it was quite lovely. And they had a room downstairs with a fireplace and their therapy was very good. They had good physical therapists who came in and out. My father didn't do a lot of the activities, but I'm sure they had games and stuff like that. It's kind of homey but it doesn't feel like a hospital, which is nice. It's very expensive. We couldn't be there long-term because they don't take Medicare or anything like that. But if you're hoping to get your person back out again at some point after some rehabilitation, it's a very nice setting, so I thought they were quite good.

Alaris Health at The Atrium is nice and clean. The people are very nice, but the food is not good. The dining room looks really nice, but the food is the same food that they use in the nursing home next door. It's served restaurant style with nursing home food. My cousin is in a studio with a kitchenette, which is fine. They have activities for them. They have a therapy company that comes in and they're very good.
