Thanks to Complete Care Orange Park and Staff for such a pleasant experience. The welcoming atmosphere. Knowledgeable Nurses and kind personable staff. We were kept fully informed on our moms care and constant communication via telephone or email if we were not present in the building. I would highly recommend for all elderly care. Lots of love and continued blessings!!!!!!!!

I really don't care for Windsor Gardens Care Center at all. My mother doesn't like the food there, and she doesn't really like the care there. My sister put her there because it was near her house, but I never cared for the place. My mother never liked it either. The staff, there seems to be good ones and then the rest of them there they don't care. Their neighborhood is not that safe. They tried to break in my sister's car twice while we were visiting my mom. I don't like that we can't see my mom because she's 88-years-old right now, and that she doesn't get to see us. We don't know what stage she's gonna be in because she's starting to say things that she don't see because she's not seeing us. And then her roommate is very nasty to her. And then I kinda move her out of that room. We call them sometimes and they don't answer, sometimes they do answer. It's clean, but I've seen mice in that place, and I don't like mice. On my mother's birthday my sister gave my mother a piece of birthday cake. They took it upstairs and put it on a night stand, and the rats got to it. So, what's good about the place?

THIS PLACE NEEDS A RESTRUCTURE OF THE WHOLE FACILITY STAFF. SOCIAL WORKER DON'T EVEN HAVE A CLUE IN HOW TO ASSIST, YOU REPORT NORMAL ISSUES AND SHE HAS NO IDEA HOW TO HANDLE THEM AND IS JUST PAPERWORK, STAFF DON'T CARE ABOUT RESIDENTS, THE WANDERED AROUND WITHOUT SUPERVISION, THEY ALWAYS ON THEIR CELL PHONES MAKING PERSONAL CALLS, CNA'S HANG OUT AT THEIR LOUNGE AREA DOOR IS ALWAYS CLOSE. LAUDRY IS STOLEN, PERSONAL ITEMS FROM RESIDENTS GET "LOST" AND NO ONE KNOWS. AND WHEN SOMEONE GETS HURTS NO BODY KNOWS NOTHING. I THINK MANAGEMENT SHOULD GET MO0RE INVOLVE AND CHANGE CURRENT PERSONNEL FOR NEW ONE THAT WILL BE WILLING TO DO THEIR JOB.

My experience with assisted living providers isn't all what I thought it would be. The care that the CNA and nurses give most of the patients were great, but what I thought was horrible was how some of the staff (some of the housekeepers and CNA's) treated each other when they thought no one was looking. I was visiting my great grandmother when she was sent to the nursing home by my aunt due to her condition (I do not feel comfortable saying what she was suffering from since she just recently died two days ago)and while passing by the empty hallways I saw a CNA yelling at a housekeeper, and telling her she should of cleaned up something on a patient (and I know that housekeepers are not the ones who are suppose the clean the patients the CNA does that) . There were other instances while I was visiting my great grandmother where I would see some CNA demeaning other workers like Janitors, and housekeepers by saying that their jobs are better than them and verbally abusing them. I don't know if the patients themselves see this happening when they are in the same room together but I know that this type of action is unhealthy to any environment. So visiting this nursing home didn't really make me respect it.

While the facility was very clean and the staff very polite, I noticed that many of the patients would roam around aimlessly trying to get attention for various reasons. I think the facility would benefit from having more staff if possible. I found that when I visited my aunt, I had to assist with her roommate, as well as other patients (if we were in the common room on the floor), getting water, helping them in or out of a chair. I would ask the nurse in the room if it was ok, she eagerly said it was, and thanked for the help.Again, the staff they have is nice; I think they just need more of them!!
