"I am the primary caregiver for my 92 yr old Mom. These are some reasons why she likes it. She is happy that she can live at home with us and that I can take care of her. She looks forward to picking out what clothes she will wear for that day. She doesn't mind getting up early to be ready for the On-Time bus. She says she is always greeted with kindness and care from the staff when she arrives. She enjoys spending time with the friends she has made. She enjoys the activities and musical bingo is her favorite. She loves to dance during the special celebration parties. 8 She likes kidding around with the Sage staff. She likes the food and always asks for second helpings on the desserts. She enjoys encouraging others. I like Spend-A-Day because: I am able to care for my mom who is 92 yrs young in our own home and not have her go to a nursing home facility. It is convenient having the On-Time bus pick her up in the morning and bring her back in the evening. I am able to care for my other family members I feel secure knowing that there is a nurse on staff in case my mom needs medical attention. Having a set routine and getting my mom up early gives her a sense of purpose. The physical activity is healthy and good for her. The interaction with others is stimulating and she doesn't get bored. It gives me a break and helps me relax. The staff and workers are highly qualified and go out of their way to offer assistance and help at all times! The facility is clean and safe. "

"I like Belleville Senior Health Services. They feed us, we do exercises, and we go shopping if we need to. The staff is very nice and everyone is welcome. They've got doctors on staff. I go there in the morning every day. If I had family and friends out here, I would recommend them. The people are very fine."

"I love this place! Everyone looks happy here. The best service, great activities and nice food. Polite attitude from staff and very friendly atmosphere. What else do you need? I forgot to mention nice transportation from home and back to home. Also they provide buses for shopping and in summer time to NJ shore. You come here and spend several hours, as in your best dream, with friends and relatives. I am very glad to be here and very grateful for everything!"

"I would recommend Seaview to anyone needing skilled care or rehab. It is very clean, everyone is very helpful and friendly. They try as much as they can to keep patients involved. The food is pretty good too. Except for the l private rooms, the rooms are small. The staff is always there to help, although I think they need a little extra help. They work very hard. They have many activities to keep the patients engaged and social. "

"Daughters of Miriam Center is awesome, and I'm very pleased. They have bingo, they give manicures to the women in the afternoon, they play Trivial Pursuit, they have movie nights, and the other day I went in there was a guy playing music for them. The staff is very accommodating. One time I wanted my husband to have a CT scan, they had that scheduled and ready to go right away. We moved him in November and he was supposed to have had a pneumonia and flu shot and he had it. They follow up on every minute detail. The place is spotless. Every time you walk in there, they are cleaning something. There's a place where you could take them outside. They would not agree to take him until they knew for sure that they would be able to accommodate him and that was really a plus. "

"My dad has been staying in AristaCare at Norwood Terrace for months. The personnel there are all qualified. They're all skilled and very good when they have time, but they're understaffed and my dad could wait over an hour to get help when he needed to go to the bathroom (and that's true for all the people staying there). Instead of waiting for help, people who shouldn't be moving on their own will get desperate and get out of bed and risk a fall. In fact, during the months that my dad was there, he fell at least two times because nobody came to help him and he had to help himself. If I could give them negative stars for treatment, I would. It's been horrible. He lost about 25% of his body weight. The kitchen is terrible. They don't even get the meals right. We order things on the menu and he gets different things. This is not just the fault of these individual nursing home rehab centers. This is the way the system is working right now."
