"Transportation is really bad, the males do their jobs, but not the females, they don't like to get off the bus and constantly using their Mobil/ phones. No point complaining as they will say to you "we never had a complaint about such person" of course most of the clients are either too sick or too old, how can you expect them to complain, those that still one whole piece will never be treated that way. Also I called twice/ in different occasions of course, to the person who enrolled my mom/as it was kind of late, when we went there and she did not return my phone call not even a day after I called her. my mom left there last week and still my phone call was never returned. "

"Happy Days is located in the downtown area where everything is only like three blocks from city hall and Lincoln Park is right across. The citizens have a chance to get out and get some air in the park where the security can see them. If there are some functions going on in the summer time, they'll be able to enjoy in the park. If they don't have anyone to come and take them out, it's right across the street. There are ramps for patients who are not able to walk to the first stop light from the building. It's very convenient if you have a problem with getting around. The only thing is that Broad Street is a wide business street. It's a very nice building and it's high rise, maybe about 10 stories. They have nice facilities for the patients. They have a day care room. The living quarters and the hallway are very clean. It has good security in and out. The staff is very professional. They have activities for the residents and they also have a nurse on premises. If you have a medical problem, you're going to have to ring the bell and someone will be there waiting for you. Everything you need is right there. It's not a facility where they serve you. A lot of residents are able to cook their own food. My friend who lived there cooked. "

"I was at The Chateau At Rochelle Park for rehab for about three weeks. The place was nice, but it was a little institutional-looking. I had a private room, which was nice. The bathroom was very nice. The only problem I had was with the mattress, which was very hard. I was having a bad back issue with that. They did give me an air-mattress; they were very accommodating. It wasn't perfect but it was better and it served the purpose, so that was good. The physical training was excellent. The PT and occupational therapy, I found them to be very good, and I found the instructors to be excellent and very helpful. They really helped me a lot in my rehabilitation. They had a little center for recreation, bingo, and activities like that, which I went to occasionally. I wasn't too big on that, I'm pretty much a loner, but I did partake, and any time I did, it was very nice. The people that managed that were lovely and were looking to make time much happier for some of the residents. They had a big blowout picnic before I left, which was very nice. For the most part, the nurses were excellent, very efficient and helpful. Some of the aides were very good, but some of them didn't want to be there or didn't want to work. The food was not great, but it was good. Other than that, I would have liked to have had a place where I could have gotten some coffee or maybe a snack because, ringing the bell, they took some time. You couldn't get help quickly. It took awhile. Everybody was very busy. They were slightly understaffed."

"What a bunch of caring people. I Had my father at the day care with altzheimers. He was a former Mayor and a man of intelligence and pride. I was so frightened of putting him in a day care setting but Casa Manito made sure they allowed him to keep his pride by opening the mail daily. He thought he worked there rather than being a patient. Casa Manito was a blessing to my family. It is a lovely place for Spanish as well as American people. We are American and my father was made to feel like gold. My father has passed away, but I will never forget their kindness. "
