"Everyone is caring and kind. Management was available any time of day I emailed a question. Maintenance helped our Dad move his furniture. We had short ribs brought to the room with desserts, and then they brought us wine. Dad has met a group of friends talks about the aids and nurses. He keeps busy, sometimes too busy to take my call. It’s a great feeling to know he’s happy."

"My sister and I moved to Birch Heights in Derry, New Hampshire 5 months ago from Massachusetts and we are delighted. The staff has been just exceptional. They are kind, considerate and hard working. We enjoy three delicious meals daily in a lovely dining room. Also Birch Heights is pet- friendly. My sister was able to bring her cat with her which made the transition much easier. The facility is very clean and includes a beauty salon, exercise room and many activities scheduled during the day. We are very pleased with Birch Heights!"

Between the room, staff, food, and friends she has made she's very happy. I love how friendly everyone there is. You should also check out the activities, transportation, and how clean everything is."

"I think Summer Place was great. The manager was very pleasant and very informative. He didn't push us around like we have to make a decision now. This place is wonderful. It's like a hotel. It's independent, but it's like community driven because the people are very friendly, and they encourage relationships among their neighbors. It is just beautiful. They have a kitchen in the rooms. The closets are very comfortable. The rooms are wonderful. They have a gym, a library, and an activity room. It is very, very nice."

"My mother has been a resident of Bridges by Epoch in Westford, Massachusetts for almost two years. She has received outstanding care and thoroughly enjoys all the activities and entertainment offered. Meals are appetizing and wholesome and the familiarity of a daily routine is comforting to residents dealing with memory issues. The staff and management at Bridges in Westford are compassionate and professional. They work tirelessly with the residents and are very responsive to each resident's wants and needs. Highly recommended!"

"The Arbors of Bedford was a very nice place and the price was comparable, but they would not accept Medicaid. It was clean and spacious, and the rooms were nice. Even if there were two residents in one room, they didn't look like hospital rooms. The residents were able to go out in the patio areas without having to have somebody with them necessarily. The people that we met there were very friendly and they obviously took good care of the residents. For meals, they said they would be offering two different things. They gave us some very good smelling baked bread when we left."

"My mother has moved into Greystone Farm at Salem. It was more of my sister's decision. Of all the places that we went to see, my sister just seemed to feel the most comfortable there. They seem to be attentive and they'll address any issues that we may have. They have singalongs, they have church services or some type of services on Sunday, and reading hour. There's a lot of different things that they do that I see on the board. The dining area seems very nice and very well stocked. The staff seems very good. They always seem to have snacks and things available between the meals. The staff is easily accessible and happy to help out whenever they can when you may have a question. It seems quite clean. I don't see anything that's alarming. It's quite expensive, but since this is the first time, I really don't have any comparison that I can use."

"My mother will be moving into The Courville at Bedford - Carlyle. What I like about it is it's small, so I feel that there will be more personalized care. The staff was very upbeat, very positive, and very nice. They seemed to care about their residents. They gave my mom some food to take home with her, and I ate the cookies. The cookies were good. It seemed very updated and very clean. The residents all seemed to be very happy. It seemed welcoming. The dining area was set up similar to a restaurant. I toured some facilities that it was more like a cafeteria with big tables. This place had little tables with four people sitting, so it seemed more pleasant."

"Benchmark at Bedford Falls is lovely; however, it's not a good fit for my mom. We saw more of the assisted living, but we did look at memory care as well. They were very welcoming. The rooms were very nice. They pretty much have everything. They have puzzles, nice rooms, happy hours, hairdressers, and a salon. It's just too vibrant of a community for my mom. She is going to be 91, and it's cost-prohibitive as well."

"Everything about Bowman Place at Olde Bedford was great. Our tour experience was fantastic. The director was a true pro and she's nice. The whole staff was incredibly nice and they knew their stuff. The place is only a year old, so the finishes were pristine. It was beautiful that I even wanted to live there. They had granite countertops and high ceilings. It's just incredible. They also had onsite physical therapy. We had lunch there and it was awesome. It was all homemade. Their chef takes great pride in what he does and the residents raved about it. The food was delicious, even the cheesecake. They do happy hours or coffee daily, they have speakers come in and talk, a gorgeous library, and gorgeous living spaces. It was all instantly appealing."

"Kennedy Meadows Gracious Retirement Living is excellent. They're very nice and accommodating. As far as looking at it, it's very nice. They've got all the stuff. The staff is excellent. They're very concerned about their job. In terms of the structure of the building and its cleanliness, it's excellent."

"I toured The Woods at Merrimack. I love the apartments. I like the grounds. I also like the activities. The only concern I had was that 90% of the people are in their 80s and I'm only 62. It's very clean. They have a theater, arts and crafts, a library, and a game room. When I stepped inside the community, I felt very welcome."

"Benchmark Senior Living at Robbins Brook was excellent. It was very clean, very new-looking, and warm. I only met one person and he was fine. He was great. He knew what he was talking about and answered all my questions quickly and easily."
