Our visit to TLC convinced us that it was a caring and well maintained facility with a compassionate owner. Everything was clean; there was no smell of disinfectants; the staff was very pleasant, and there were 3 staff members for 10 patients. Meals were prepared onsite and served to patients in a pleasant dining room. My sister spent 2 months there, bedridden with numerous medical issues before passing away. She was well cared for, and each time we heard someone enter her room, they were always pleasant and greeted her by name. There were monthly events for all residents, the opportunity to sit in a pleasant backyard (well fenced) whenever patients wanted, and group meals so residents could get to know each other. Because she was bedridden, my sister couldn't take part in daily activities but before she weakened, the staff got her into a wheelchair to sit outside for some time. The room had a window that looked out onto a tree, which made her happy, and Dora offered to put up family photos. On her birthday, she received balloons and birthday greetings from the staff that meant a lot to her. Dora, the owner, found a more nutritious formula for her feeding tube, which we all appreciated. Although her stay was short, my sister said she felt safe there. We were very pleased with her care and highly recommend TLC, Dora, and the staff.

I went to tour TLC Costa Brava. I liked everything about that facility. It was very well-lit. The staff seemed very loving and nice. The rooms were nice. It looked like a place where you could be happy. It just really looked nice like they put on some thought into it. The staff was very personable, and there was the representative there, Tiana. She gave me the full tour and answered all my questions. It was beautiful. They had a meal plan out which I appreciated. It was a basic meal plan, but they also let me know that they were able to accommodate my aunt's needs if she wanted something personal. The dining area was open and lit. I liked that they had a theme going on that you could tell that they were celebrating holidays, and it looked nice. It was well kept, and there was a lot of room to get around in. They had a garden patio, a game room, and a visitor's room (if you will), where they would video chat if necessary with family members.

I continue to be impressed by the facility and staff from my first visit till now. It is an incredibly clean, up-to-date facility. The rooms are bright and inviting and the staff is always friendly, kind and compassionate. I have visited on a number of occasions and sometimes daily. There always seems to be some type of activity or meal talking place to keep the residents engaged. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for personalize care for family or loved ones.

I am so glad I found TLC Costa Brava for my friend who needed professional memory care. He has been living there since May 2019. I would highly recommend TLC Costa Brava to take care of your loved one. The staff is very caring and efficient and is like an extended family. There is always some activity or celebration involving the residents. During the days, he can either watch tv in the living room with the other residents or stay in his room and watch tv, if he chooses. It’s a very clean and inviting home that you cannot get at a larger assisted living facility. I feel a sense of security knowing that my friend is safe and well cared for thanks to the excellent staff and Dora!

My family needed help caring for my stepfather and Dora and her team came through and gave us the peace of mind and comfort that we all needed. Dora was extremely supportive, always responsive to our questions and communicating with her was very easy. She treated us like family which I truly appreciated and I will always remember her kindness and excellent care she and her team provided.
