I'm at The Americana now. I have been here since last year. There is a dining room and a medicine tech room. You go to the dining room, and then you go to the med tech office to get your medication daily. Most patients here use a wheelchair or a walker to go to all the locations. The staff members are above average in terms of helping everybody here. However, there are a lot of rules here, and you need to follow the rules. If you don't follow the rules, you might get pretty much kicked out of this area. I've just seen patients being kicked out of this area because they broke some rules of this facility. I would also say the food is average. It's a little bit higher quality than hospital food. The laundry is done twice a week, and housekeeping comes in and cleans the bed sheets and the floor once a week. The common areas are kept pretty clean. Most of the public areas are pretty clean here. I'm not sure how much the insurance is paying for this place, but the services are reasonably good. Some of the patients have been here for a while, like a couple of years, and I've spoken with them, and they say it's definitely livable. They have activities that the other patients use. Activities seem to be pretty normal.
