My mom moved to Silverado Lee's Summit. Everybody is trained in memory care and everybody was so nice. I'm impressed with the training that they have, and also the food. That's the most impressive thing because my mom doesn't like green beans or salad. When they have something she doesn't like, she'll just say that she doesn't like it and they'll make her a hamburger and fries or a hot dog and fries, or grilled cheese. It's like ordering at a restaurant. They have stuff for them every day. If it's not bingo, it's pottery or something like that. They've taken my mom to three different places. They took her to a restaurant one day and then to a couple of other places. They did go to an antique shop. They just take a limited amount of people, but every two weeks they will take them somewhere to do something. Their prices are higher than any place that we looked at, except for the quality is better there. They have two levels of care. One, that is the first level that my mom is at. Then they have the second level of people who don't even know what they're doing. So, I feel comfortable that if she gets to that stage, they will still do something with them every day.

This place was absolutely top tier wonderful! My stepfather stayed here during the last week of his life and the staff were so incredibly caring and warm and tenderhearted during this significant moment in my family's lives. I especially want to highlight Brandy, who I found to be especially attentive, warm, and welcoming. She had her dog with her all the time who became comforting and a friendly face as my siblings and I visited my stepdad around the clock. The other staff kept my stepdad clean if he needed to be changed, covered, and warm. It was one of the most precious moments of my life and the staff was so well educated and took very good care of us, in my opinion.

My wife is in Silverado Lee's Summit. It's been pretty good. I like that they have activities, the people are friendly, and she was able to get a private room. Her room is a little bit small though. The place is very clean. The food is better than average. The dining area is nice and clean. The workers are always there ready to help. They have sing-alongs, joke-telling, and trivia questions. They were playing drums today in one of their activity rooms. Like most places, some of the staff are good and some of them are not so good.

I went to tour Silverado Lee's Summit. I thought it was really nice, and it's some place that I would feel very comfortable leaving my parents at. When I was there, I was like, 'Oh, this is amazing.' Even the price wasn't bad for the two weeks of respite. We could handle that if we needed to. The people that we dealt with were really nice. The person who took me around was very nice and very caring. They have a lot of different things to keep the residents busy. They have a lot of activities and music programs depending on the level of care they need, but it sounded really good. They have outdoor spaces. They even have a little putting golf where they could golf. That was the main thing I was interested in because my dad was an avid golfer. The room was nice and homey, too.

Silverado Lee's Summit Memory Care Community seemed to be an excellent facility. They seem to have much superior memory care. They allow you to go in for 60 days, and if you're not satisfied, you can pull out and get your money back. So it tells you a lot about this company when they're willing to do that. The facility is brand new, very open, fresh, and clean. All the people seemed to be very happy. The staff members seemed very energetic and organized. They have a good amount of staffing for each patient. They had their night nurses and daytime nurses. The upkeep is excellent.

My Uncle is very happy here. I am happy to see the new staff making positive changes to make it a better place. My Uncle really enjoys the activities. His room is a decent size but he is always out of his room doing something. I really like the family dining room where we can share meals as a family still.
