My parents have moved into Cedarhurst of Farmington. I like how friendly the staff is, and they're very responsive to needs. It's very clean. The food is decent. There is a couple of different things I could say about the food, but for the most overall it's good. They're in quarantine still, so it's hard to say a whole lot more, other than the room is nice. Their accommodations are nice, and they're provided for very well. Their laundry is done for them, and they clean the room. Everything is just wonderful. The facility is very clean and well-lit. The interior design is light and positive, it has a good energy about it when you walked in. They have live entertainment that comes in and a physical activity room. There are board games, card games, and painting if they want to paint. There are probably more outdoor activities in the warmer months. It all sounded great, the list of activities they have. There's a beauty salon that my mom will most likely take advantage of.

We toured Cedarhurst of Farmington. I think it's very well organized. One of the things they mentioned and one of the main things we saw was that it did not seem to be assisted living of any sort, more importantly like independent living, more like a resort-type property, clean, and smelled good. It was just nothing like any other place we had ever toured. The staff was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and caring. They had a movie theater room. They had physical therapy. If they needed walking, they had walking areas. They had courtyards and numerous activities. There's something to keep you busy all the time. They offered food, but it did not work for us at that moment, but I do know that they have won numerous awards for their food service. That's one of the big things they've gotten.

The staff at Cedarhurst is very kind, considerate and committed to making sure their residents are well taken care of and comfortable in their facility. The facility offers many opportunities for the residents to participate in a variety of activities and remain as independent as their capabilities allow. The activities many times include the residents families as well. The facility is beautiful, well maintained and very inviting for the residents and visitors. The food service provides a well rounded menu and allows the residents to choose additional items if the standard menu is not to their liking. The residents apartments are attractive and provide a kitchenette, spacious living, bedroom, and bathroom areas. The outside areas are also attractive and provide additional activities for the residents. In closing we can feel confident that our loved ones are very comfortable in their new home and are surrounded by a well trained and loving staff.

We've decided to move my father to Cedarhurst of Farmington because it was really pretty. They went out of their way to try to help us financially by waiving a few fees and different things like that. The rooms are gorgeous and a good size. The staff has been very helpful and up to date on everything. They know what he's up to or what he's doing, and the higher ups even go around and talk to the residents to make sure everything's OK. The dining area is very nice, welcoming, and homey. I haven't tasted the food, but he brags on it all the time. He's only been there a couple of weeks, but he gets a paper every day that tells him what's going on, what they're doing each hour of the day, and what hours the beauty shops open. He is kept up on a daily basis on what's available for him to go and do each day. Out of all the places that I've checked out, this was quite a bit more expensive. It is also a lot nicer. It's not a depressing place, but more uplifting. You kind of get a happy vibe wherever you go in there, as opposed to a dreary and dark one.

Cedarhurst of Farmington was beautiful and very clean. My mom would actually be in the memory care, not the assisted living. The rooms were very big and very nice. They had a whole activity sheet, and they do a lot of stuff all day. They have a variety of food and they offer options in case they don't like what the main meal is of the day. The staff seemed really nice.
