We liked the residential care home of Solbakken in Maple Grove for my dad because it has more one-on-one care. We are working on moving him there right now. I toured the facility, and what I like most is that they have 24-hour LPNs, so I believe that he would get more attention and interaction. It's also very clean and has easy accessibility for my dad to get around. They have activities to help each resident. They also celebrate holidays and get all of their residents involved. The person who welcomed me there was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and seemed very caring.

I have moved into Solbakken in Maple Grove. I'm in assisted living, and it's been really great. It's a beautiful, 3-story facility. People are very caring and very diligent. They're very careful with times and medications. They check and double-check them. If they're not sure, they always call in the head nurse. They're very careful and very meticulous in handling these things. The food is great here. They have dietitians that plan the food out, so you get all the right food every day. The right amount of fruits and vegetables. They're really fussy about that. For activities, we've done exercising, coloring, and painting. We have discussions on what's in the news and the newspapers. We also do devotions every day.
