I visited Suite Living of Ramsey. They were very, very nice except that a lot of them were from foreign countries, which I have no problem with at all, but my sister has difficulty speaking clearly due to a brain injury. I had a hard time understanding them, and I know that she would and that they would have a hard time with her because she doesn't speak very well. The staff was very friendly. They greeted me. When we did the tour there, they were all eating lunch, and they were just very, very nice. They have lunch with the people. They're there in case they start choking or if they need assistance. I liked it all. I just didn't think the communication was gonna work. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place. Everything is included in there. They don't get charged extra. The amenities are great. The activity director was bubbly, and they just had a Halloween party. She said, "I wish you would have been here an hour earlier. You could have been to our party." I'm in the process of filling out all that paperwork for them so that they can meet her needs. It is very clean. It is a smaller place, so I think they have more time to devote to the people. They have games. They have devotion hour every day, which I like. They also have music coming in all the time. They have a meet-and-greet activity or just hang out on a Friday night. They have crafts. I've seen some of the food that they had, and I asked one lady who lived there, "How's your food? How's your lunch?" She said, "It's so good here, the food's great." The place is very spotless, clean, and very well laid out.
