I decided to stay in SilverCreek on Main. It's a very nice and neat place. It has a wellness center with a gym and a swimming pool which I like very much. They do have entertainment and two restaurants. It has everything that I need or want. They have what they call a bistro which has a luncheon-type menu. They have all kinds of sandwiches at an economical price and the food is very good. The staff was good. They make sure they know your name, listen to any problems or complaints, and usually get things done.

We toured SilverCreek on Main. It was a very beautiful place, but it was too big. I was looking for something more intimate for my mother-in-law. They had like 240 apartments versus where we're going is only 40. The staff was wonderful. It was so nice, but it was very expensive.

My friend moved to SilverCreek on Main. It was so beautiful that we were just sold on it right away. Their exercise and swim facilities are just really top-notch. They've got all of the in-house staff to do therapies and to care for my friend. They have another level of assisted living that was a little bit higher if he wanted to go into that eventually, which was another big draw for him. It was just newer and very well taken care of. The staff is wonderful. I made it very clear with every place that I was just bringing him to tour the places that I was just a friend and I felt like they just gave him that recognition, that he was the one in charge. They talk slowly to him. When I took him to another place, they talked so fast, and with older people, it just took them a little bit longer to kind of understand everything. So, I really like that and they just explained everything well and introduced us right away to nursing staff, to the staff in the health care facilities, like where the pool and the workout room and all that was. They also invited us for lunch to try the food. We just didn't have time that day. They're really good. He lives there now and had a couple of meals already and he said it's really good food. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for.

SilverCreek on Main is a beautiful facility. The staff did an amazing job introducing me to the property. The facilities are wonderful. The rooms are wonderful. It's good. The staff is good. I have nothing bad to say about them whatsoever. I very much enjoyed that, and probably with all things being equal, that might have been my number-one choice. It's interesting. I think people enjoy it. I went and visited with some of the residents, and they seemed very engaged. It's nice.

Everybody at SilverCreek on Main has been very, very good. They were congenial, helpful, and very informative. They covered all the things that I could think of. I didn't have many questions when I was done. It was an easy choice. It's also closer to my family and my church. They have a big 90-degree swimming pool (which is a great thing that I was looking for), and I am looking forward to that. They have movies, church services, and other stuff, too. The building was very well kept and clean. Smelled great when you walked into it, and that's very impressive.

I toured Silvercreek On Main in person. They have a new building there, and it's only a year old, so it's super nice and new, so that's for my mom because she's pretty particular. I liked that it had underground parking. It had balconies, which were important for her. I like the layout and the amenities like the workout room and pool. It was all very nice. The salesperson was very helpful and informative. She has followed up with me a couple of times now, so that was nice. It's close to my house like two minutes, so that was a definite plus. It is convenient to a lot of stores and stuff. My mom still drives, so it is a good location for a lot of reasons. They have things that are important to my mom like they have a church there and they have a good Bible study. They shuttle people to different activities and fun things around the Twin Cities. I think they were doing a tour or a bunch of ladies went to Bachman's for their lunch or whatever. From what I understand, they can get a shuttle to go to stores if they can't drive. I briefly looked at the calendar: If you want to gamble or play cards or games, they have stuff like that going on now. Since COVID has kind of gone up a little bit, they reinstated some of that.

SilverCreek on Main was excellent. They took a lot of time with us, answered all our questions, followed up, sent thank you notes, and were very accommodating. It just felt like home. It's practically brand new. Everything is organized well, and the hallways are nice and bright. They have the handrails, a cafeteria, and a dining area. It's clean, immaculate, and very well-kept too.

SilverCreek on Main was very nice. Their memory care was relatively new. They have two levels, and it's big, bright, and open. Their studios were the largest that I have seen, and they have kitchenettes. They have a swimming pool and an exercise room, and it's almost like a health club. Everybody seemed very nice. The person who took me around was very nice and knowledgeable. There's independent living there as well. Maple Grove in general is a nice area and it's very close to the library, parks, and they have free concerts at the little amphitheater twice a week in the summer.

SilverCreek on Main was very beautiful. They have a cafe and a bakery. You can buy meals there. In the independent living section you can have three meals a week. It's flexible. The staff was very spectacular. They took me on a tour, and we got to see the apartment. I wanted to live there, but it was so high end.

The furnaces in the 1 bedroom units are electric whereas the other units have a gas furnace. You are responsible for the electricity used for the furnace. SCOM did not allow us to set up our own Utility accounts - those persons in the 1 bedroom units had their accounts set up inaccurately. I had Excel Energy come out to my unit and make the necessary corrections to my bill as electric furnaces (during the winter months) is discounted. This was never disclosed to us prior to the lease signing - we were told that "All" the utilities were included in the monthly rent - NOT True. The Property Manager had refused the Excel employee access to the property - so I had him remove his badge and had him enter as my guest. When she found this out - she called Excel "Demanding" my account information - Excel refused as this would be a violation of the Privacy Act. She was verbally aggressive - Excel recorded their conversation with her. In January I did not receive a “Certificate Of Rent Paid”. SCOM was claiming tax exemption - I investigated this with the city and county only to discover that no deed had ever been filed. It was still in the city of MG's name. This was addressed by 3 government offices as SCOM “Refused" to correct the “Intentional Inaccuracy” of my CRP (it was off by approximately $300). Gossiping & Rumors toward individuals are displayed by the STAFF (though not all). I was "Intentionally" skipped over for a garage stahl by the leasing agent numerous times. Corporate & Staff (FACTUAL) DID use “Intimidation Tactics" toward Seniors to silence those of us who voiced our concerns with threats of "eviction or termination of our lease agreement/s". SCOM termed it :: "Interferring With The Management Of The Property". I have saved All documentation in support of my statements made here. I possess much knowledge about MN Tenant’s Rights - in the first Resident's monthly forum - SCOM admitted that they were 2 months behind in work orders (Fact) - I knew that I/We could go down to the County Courthouse - file a complaint and then the County would hold our Rent Checks in an escrow account until the work orders had been completed. Dog Feces have been left in the halls & on the sidewalks for walkers, wheelchairs, and scooters to role through - A "MG Health Code Violation”. Several residents (including myself) had even stepped in the left Feces. A cleaning staff employee and a front desk employee had on several occasions picked up the Feces that had been left by a dog owner. We had a satellite provider in the building for Television service - management selected the program package for us (Seniors) - it included the "Baby Channel" - but DID NOT include PBS or Certain Sports Channels. We were not please with the package that they had choosen for us. This was taking months - months to address and correct.

SilverCreek on Main was superb. There's nothing that it lacks, but I can't afford to go there yet. The rooms were fine, but what impressed us was someone met us at the door with a smile and said, "How can I help you?" Other places had nobody there at all. They had a hot tub, a swimming pool, water aerobics, and hydrotherapy. There were several different dining rooms to choose from, or you can have your meals in your room or cook in your room or have meals with other people. There's transportation provided if you want to go to the doctor or wherever else you want to go. The facility was new and fantastic, and the staff was absolutely great. Everything that you could possibly want was there. They also had independent living attached to it if you want to start there and then move up as you need it. My friend is very happy there.

I visited SilverCreek on Main. The facilities were absolutely beautiful. It was a very new, wonderful facility. They had lots of amenities and a lot of things going on. Tn their lobby, they had a grand piano and a nice sitting area, then next to it was a gathering room or a community room. It was well-appointed with lovely woodwork. It was very nice.

SilverCreek on Main is a new, clean, very nice, and friendly facility. The dining area was good. The staff was very nice. My overall observation and feeling about it was very good. The price was comparable to everything else that I’ve encountered in the area.

Silvercreek was a very nice facility. I was impressed with it. I put down $500 to put on hold for a 2-bedroom apartment, but if we went there and my husband was on assisted living, we have to move in a smaller apartment into another wing. They didn’t have any apartment sizes that we have in the place we are in.

My dad really likes SilverCreek on Main because of the size of the place and the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, especially the wait staff in the assisted living cafeteria. He really enjoyed it. We went to about four places, but he liked it the best. The rooms are very nice. It's a new facility and a good size. It's not really tiny, even the studio is a pretty good-sized place. The dining room was very nice, manageable for the staff that was there, had good food, and spot-on attention. It was good and like a restaurant.
