We were able to visit Cascades, see the room, talk with people, get a cost, and it seemed fine. We had to wear masks and all the other residents had to be in the room. We just made a quick visit in the room. We liked what was in the room, their activities, their dining, and the cost. Things were included, there wasn't extra stuff. There was a TV in the room that's included, they do homemade meals, and the staff has worked there a really long time too. It seemed fine. They had a list of the food there, but we haven't had it, but they make it every day fresh.

My mom has been a resident at Cascades for a year. The owners and staff are very caring, kind and compassionate. Her room is nice and large so we can have several visitors at once. The residents are wonderful. My mom does bible study with her friends every morning. They also have live music on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. The place is very clean and the food is homemade and very good. The menu is always different for a great variety for the residents. I am thankful my mom is safe, well taken care of and fed good food!! Kendra Baillargeon

Cascades is everything that one looks for in memory care. With a full time nurse who specializes in memory care they have been able to meet a much higher level of care than other local facilities. There prices are very comparable and in most cases they are lower than others. They work with Veteran's Aide & Attendance, The Michigan Waiver Program as well as long term care insurance. The nurse Krystyna is available 24 hours a day to answer any questions that we may have regarding our loved ones care. The facility is very clean and never has any harsh odors. The staff are very caring and compassionate and know just how to interact with all of the residents. Cascades offers a unique approach to care- Resident Centered Care, allowing aging in place. What we have learned this means that they have a good understanding of memory care and that not two memory care patients are the same. Each resident's care is designed for them from shower time, to meals and activities. Cascades resident's are so much more than just a number. They really are a member of the family, we could not imagine having our loved one anywhere else. We will tell everyone how amazing it is.

I liked Cascades Senior Living a lot, but I didn't see much of the people. They have a full memory care, right from beginning to a hospice. They work with Medicaid, which a lot of places don't. I liked the manager's energy. It's a locked door thing. They have two parts: they have an old part and a new part. In the new part, the rooms are fantastic but are pricey. A single room is $7,000 a month. On the old side, the prices were pretty reasonable. I was impressed by them, but I want to check them out again next week and see more of the people in the old part. I just saw them eating, and they were all kind of quiet.
