my Mom lived at Sheffield for almost 6 years. The last 8 months in memory care. Sheffield management was quick to respond and ro make changes if we made suggestions or had complaint. There are 6 children involved and one of us was there daily. It didn't require that but this is proof we are very familiar with the way Sheffield performed. At the end, during Covid, my Mom was treated like she was their own Mom. Through Covid they had excellent individualized programs and video sessions with family.

I toured Sheffield Bay for my mother. It seemed like a very nice and clean place. I talked to the director there, and she was very pleasant. The rooms were adequate. I only saw one caregiver during my visit, giving medicine, and that was it. I was there around lunchtime, so I saw some residents eating in the cafeteria area. I would like to have seen more caregivers walking down the halls.

Our father was a resident at the Sheffield. It was Beautiful inside including the rooms and it was always clean. We were so happy with our dad‘s care. The staff was amazing and they were so loving towards all the residents. I highly recommend Sheffield if you are looking for a place for your loved one. We can’t say enough about our whole experience at Sheffield. We have 6 children in our family and we all loved everything about this place!

We chose Sheffield Bay for my mother-in-law. We're happy with them. The staff is very nice and I like the fact that the dining area looks more like a restaurant. It's very nice and very homey. I've talked to a few people and they seemed very happy to be there. The facilities are very nice and the price is wonderful. She's in memory care.

We have already chosen Sheffield Bay for my mom, and I felt that the whole place is neat. Everyone is very professional and friendly, and they bend over backwards to help in anyway. The food is excellent. But the price is a bit more.

Sheffield Bay was fine, new, and state-of-the-art. Population-wise, the females far outnumbered the males. I didn’t know how comfortable my father-in-law would be there with that. However, the rooms were larger than the others we saw. They were very professional there. I would say they were really efficient.

I have had the privilege of visiting Sheffield Place in Bay City, Michigan. I feel like this is a very special facility because it has numerous options for it's residents. If your loved one needs to have full assistance, they have assisted living. Or, if your loved one can still handle all of their daily activities but are looking for a place to live, they have an independent living facilities as well. I was able to visit this place and get a first hand perspective of the operations of Sheffield Place. My friend's grandmother lives at this facility, in independent living, and she loves it. She says that it is a great place to meet people and get into different social activities such as dances, bingo and other activities. I also was able to interact and watch the way that the employees dealt with the patients and found them to actually take the time to listen and talk to the patients. I was impressed with how clean and sterile the environment was and also the rooms that the residents stayed in were unique. Every patient is allowed to make their rooms into what they want and they can bring in things from home to make themselves feel more comfortable.Overall, this is a great facility and you should check it out if you are looking to place a loved one in a facility.

Sheffield Place, located in Bay City, Michigan, is a great assisted living facility for elderly adults and disabled people to live in. For starters, the amenities are great. The layout of the facility allows for plenty of outdoor space for nature walks and visiting with family members. Also, cable television and utilities are all inclusive. Another positive thing about this places is the food. The food is delicious. The nurses really took the opinions of my loved one into consideration and attempted to make the best meals possible. However, there was limited variety in these meals since some residents have a strict diet. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and courteous. They offer constant assistance as well as emergency calling systems. However, they did seem a bit inexperienced. Since Sheffield Place is for adults that need little care and supervision, they do not have the most experienced team of nurses available, which can be hazardous. Overall, though, the whole grounds are great for adults that cannot live quite on their own, but do well to get by and would like a new home to relocate to.

This is an excellent facility with a wonderful staff. There is a warm family feel to the facility. The activities are well thought out and address memory care as well as social activities. The staff is exceptional in their interaction with the residents and provide care that is individualized to the needs of each resident. There is a real effort to get to know each resident and their families. I would highly recommend Sheffield Bay to anyone needing assisted living care.
