"Hampton Manor of Trenton is beautiful. I wanted to go there. I didn't see the meals, but the dining rooms were nice. The rooms needed a little more friendliness to them. They were kind of cold and sterile. The only thing I didn't like about them is that it costs $1500 just to walk through the door with a patient, like for them to do the paperwork on it or something. It's above and beyond what you would pay a month. I like that they give the patient's family a code to put in the door. That was a good deal. They have a courtyard, and during nice weather, the patients can get outside and enjoy the fresh air. They can't get to the road or anything like that. It's a really nice courtyard they could go to. The lady who toured us was very informative and very nice. She also straight-out told you what all the expenses were."

"My mom has been at Aspen Grove for 5 1/2 years. I’m very pleased with the care my mom receives. I can put my head down on my pillow at night, knowing my mom is being in good hands. The meals that are served are very good and cooked in the kitchen at Aspen Grove. If a resident doesn’t like what is being served, they will prepare something that they will eat. The residents are kept busy with activities. "

"I went and toured Landings of Oregon. Everybody was so friendly. They seemed to be on top of everything. Everything was nice and clean, and I was impressed with them. I didn't check the food, but everything smelled really good. The rooms and the common areas were very clean."

"We took a tour and it was very informative. They can provide everything that we need, so that's why my husband will be moving there. The memory care was more like a little apartment. It's not just a bedroom, so it's a little nicer. I've eaten there a couple of times, and it was quite good. The facility was lovely. It was clean and we liked it. The staff members were very friendly and very helpful. They have all kinds of activities for them."

"We chose The Grove at Oakleaf Village because it is a beautiful, brand-new facility designed by a company in Ohio that does a lot of research to create a memory care facility with the right floor plan and operational organization that works the best for my mother. We just moved my mom there last week, and so far, so good. The food is excellent. They have state-of-the-art amenities. They have everything, including a beautiful full kitchen, indoor sun rooms, outdoor patios, wide hallways where everything is brand new, waterfalls, and a fireplace in the lobby. They have programs for the dementia patients to be involved in mid-morning and mid-afternoon, like eating together for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. "

"The medical team and all the staff have everything covered. From the housekeeping and everything, they're all-inclusive. So far, the staff is pleasant and informing. My mother's room is almost complete, they've done some work with the painting and everything so things are almost in order. They're starting to do a few activities but they're still on lockdown because of the virus."

"My husband will be in Linden Square Senior Care just for two weeks. We chose it because I couldn't find any place for respite care that was less than a month. I was very impressed with the facility. Patty was wonderful, warm, caring, and knowledgeable. Every staff member I met was happy. The place was very nice and clean. The rooms we looked at were single and double rooms, and they were fine, especially for our needs. The dining area was nice too. Everything looked clean. They said the food was very good. It's pretty much homemade. They had lots of parking space and it was very easy."

"Vibrant Life Superior Township was quite nice. The people that I met there and the people that I talked to were very kind and very helpful. I visited the memory care and it was clean and pleasant. It looked like the residents were well taken care of. It has a nice outdoor courtyard. The gentleman that is in charge was very kind and very nice. It was not the most updated/modern facility, but it was nice."

"Best Assisted Living center ever. The facility is a home, with 6 hospital beds. Dora makes the residents and family visiting feel like family. My sister had stage four cirrhosis of the liver. We came to Blessed Assisted Living for Hospice care. My sister was always clean and feed. I told my children if I ever need Hospice, Re-Habilitation, or Assisted living please take me here. I thank GOD ever night that I found Blessed Assisted Living. "

"Bickford of Canton is nice. I liked it a lot. I think it would be my first choice. It's family-focused and pet friendly like they don't mind visiting dogs. They have studios and apartments. They're on the smaller side, and that's partly because they encourage residents to get out. There are lots of activities. There are lots of little socialization places as well as bigger ones. There's a door to the apartment, but once you're in the apartment, there are no doors, so managing a wheelchair or going around in the wheelchair, you don't have to worry about a door. I found it weird, but at the same time, it makes sense. They take trips into the community. They have transportation that will take you places. They'll go to the symphony or go to a local play. It kind of gives everybody a chance to get out. There are lots of activities, probably more than any of the other ones I saw. The staff were great. They were wonderful. It was clean and homey, and everybody seemed to be happy. "
