"Hampton Manor of Trenton is beautiful. I wanted to go there. I didn't see the meals, but the dining rooms were nice. The rooms needed a little more friendliness to them. They were kind of cold and sterile. The only thing I didn't like about them is that it costs $1500 just to walk through the door with a patient, like for them to do the paperwork on it or something. It's above and beyond what you would pay a month. I like that they give the patient's family a code to put in the door. That was a good deal. They have a courtyard, and during nice weather, the patients can get outside and enjoy the fresh air. They can't get to the road or anything like that. It's a really nice courtyard they could go to. The lady who toured us was very informative and very nice. She also straight-out told you what all the expenses were."

"My mom has been at Aspen Grove for 5 1/2 years. I’m very pleased with the care my mom receives. I can put my head down on my pillow at night, knowing my mom is being in good hands. The meals that are served are very good and cooked in the kitchen at Aspen Grove. If a resident doesn’t like what is being served, they will prepare something that they will eat. The residents are kept busy with activities. "

"It really looks pretty and nice. There's only one lady who showed us around. She seemed very pleasant. They have a little bus that I'm sure would take the people here and there. "

"I went and toured Landings of Oregon. Everybody was so friendly. They seemed to be on top of everything. Everything was nice and clean, and I was impressed with them. I didn't check the food, but everything smelled really good. The rooms and the common areas were very clean."

"We took a tour and it was very informative. They can provide everything that we need, so that's why my husband will be moving there. The memory care was more like a little apartment. It's not just a bedroom, so it's a little nicer. I've eaten there a couple of times, and it was quite good. The facility was lovely. It was clean and we liked it. The staff members were very friendly and very helpful. They have all kinds of activities for them."

"My father has moved into The Bellaire Senior Living. The atmosphere is very nice. It's very clean, and the people are friendly. The staff has been great. He had dinner last night, and it was excellent. He ate in his room, but the dining room is very nice. His room is very nice, too. They have activities but I haven't seen enough yet. Everything looks good. They have a beautiful gazebo. We chose it because one of the caseworkers at the hospital, her mother was there, and she spoke highly of it, so I felt like it must be a good place."

"We chose The Grove at Oakleaf Village because it is a beautiful, brand-new facility designed by a company in Ohio that does a lot of research to create a memory care facility with the right floor plan and operational organization that works the best for my mother. We just moved my mom there last week, and so far, so good. The food is excellent. They have state-of-the-art amenities. They have everything, including a beautiful full kitchen, indoor sun rooms, outdoor patios, wide hallways where everything is brand new, waterfalls, and a fireplace in the lobby. They have programs for the dementia patients to be involved in mid-morning and mid-afternoon, like eating together for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. "

"Charter Senior Living of Oak Openings was very nice. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It's fairly new, so it's in a very good condition. The rooms were small but adequate. We were shown the menu, and we were offered a sample of the food, which was very good."

"My father is in StoryPoint Saline. The staff has been awesome. They've just gone above and beyond. Everything has been wonderful there. The only issue has been with staffing, which is a country problem, so I don't blame them for that. They have done whatever they could for us in taking care of my parent. They're doing the best they can. Their chef is really good, even better than the place that my parents were at, which was highly rated. In assisted living, they only have a small refrigerator and nothing else. In the independent, they have the oven, the stovetop, and the refrigerator. There are washers and dryers in some of the larger rooms, but not in the one-bedrooms. It's very well laid out, very bright, and very airy. It's in a very beautiful location. They have music come in, they have religious services twice a week, they have outings scheduled all the time, and during the college football season, they have the tailgate. They even have camping for them for the people that want to do camping. In the courtyard area, they'll put up tents and people can camp out if they want to and do tailgating. They do a lot of different activities. Value for money is very good. I can't say anything bad."

"The medical team and all the staff have everything covered. From the housekeeping and everything, they're all-inclusive. So far, the staff is pleasant and informing. My mother's room is almost complete, they've done some work with the painting and everything so things are almost in order. They're starting to do a few activities but they're still on lockdown because of the virus."

"I really liked Linden Square, and I don’t have to travel on the express way. I liked the room that he would go into; it had a big bay window and a walk-in closet, and it just seemed nice. Everything was clean, it didn’t smell, and it felt like his room back home. They had a program that had people doing things. "

"Vibrant Life Superior Township was quite nice. The people that I met there and the people that I talked to were very kind and very helpful. I visited the memory care and it was clean and pleasant. It looked like the residents were well taken care of. It has a nice outdoor courtyard. The gentleman that is in charge was very kind and very nice. It was not the most updated/modern facility, but it was nice."
